Anyways, the Rio has really great self park that you dont have to walk for 5 miles and is also my favorite and quickest place to get a free drink anywhere. I would really suggest renting a can if you want to get around. We always get pur car rental on preiceline or name our own price. Last time we only paid $50 for a 4 day rental. you probably want to spend a little time on the main strip and having a car is great. Downtown is a lot of fun, you dont see those type of people anywhere lol. And make sure not to miss the deep fried Oreo's as suggested!!

As far as deep-fried Oreos...I'm not too sure that's a road I need to travel. hehe Oh, and Trippy - as far as poker, I'd play for a living if I had more money in the bank. So, here's hoping I win my tourney in July and can use that as a nest egg for a poker fund.

Re doing it on the cheap, Mac King has a great afternoon comedy/magic show at Harrah's (strip) that is actually one of the best shows in town. You've already been told about El Cortez...The Plaza downtown is home to one of the four Hash-House-A-Go-Go's that populate the city. They serve "twisted farm food" which is WONDERFUL. Not the cheapest place to eat but not too expense. Breakfast will cost about $12-15 dollars and you won't have to eat until dinner. Go zip-lining down Fremont. If you enjoy a drink or two or more, check out Downtown (just off Fremont) and The Griffin (on Fremont, just past the canopy). For a more thorough listing check out Fremont Street Bars . com Emergency Arts on Fremont is a very cool place that features the work of local artists. You will love being there during WSOP. A very short cab ride from downtown is the Neon Museum (neon museum . com). Their boneyard tour is fantastic. This may be heresy on a Disney board but if you like Chuck Jones...and you should...his family opened up an interactive museum dedicated to his work at Circus Circus. Haven't been. Check out their website first. If you have an iPhone, buy a copy of Vegas Mate. It's really great. And finally, start listening to a podcast called Five Hundy By Midnight. Simply the best. The couple that produce/host it are big fans of downtown and spent this 3-day weekend in Vegas. No doubt the podcast that will come online this upcoming Sunday will be filled with great tips.

Odds on that are only about 1 in 180 or so, but that ALSO means that I need to BE PATIENT. Me not being patient and/or getting bored is my downfall every time.

Matt already has travel size toothpaste OR I can just take a dozen of those Colgate Wisps since I've got hundreds of them.
