Doesn't mean I like paying higher gas prices and ticket prices to get into DL. But I'm not going to take it personally.<<

In the case of gasoline, demand has been steadily dropping in the USA. That topic is probably best left to World Events.

I don't where they come up with these numbers, but most things cost a lot more today than 2x of their 1985 prices. Things like cars, rent, energy, medical care, tuition rates, etc.

I can't imagine who would want to go to Seaworld ;) but that's a good deal if you do. Even if you don't but do want to go to Universal, it's a good deal.

Adults 3 day hopper thru Disney is $250, city pass ticket is $279. That's a good deal too.

No, it just means Disneyland sucks. Plain and simple. Corporate greed and they are not ashamed of it.

So is it the increase or the amount of the increase that has you so ticked off?

Disney may be greedy, but at the same time it's not like development at DLR has been stagnant with the exact same roster of attractions, restaurants, shop, hotels and entertainment that was there 15 years ago. Remember when the place was falling apart, operating hours aware being cut back, and there were no new attractions being built while prices were still being raised regularly?

They shouldn't be. It's not like their prices are creating hardship for anyone.

Here, nobody needs Disneyland, yet when the price hikes are as contrived as these are, most people don't begrudge them. Go figure.

Probably like that every time they increase their prices though.

And yet DLR attendance year to date come 2013 will likely be break records. I get that people are annoyed, but come on, it's not like this is surprising.

Is it enough to make you stop visiting?

Seems like people still want it, so Disney - charge what the market will bear.
