I'll leave that one for the professionals. 8^D

I don't detest anyone, period. Life is too short to hate someone. I totally disagree with how that particular individual conducts himself but that is his choice. It certainly isn't doing him any favors. I'd like to hear that rumor because as far as I know the only plans for Epcot are the new Canada CircleVision, George Scribner's Three Cabs animation for Mexico and SSE going under at the end of '07 for a brand new attraction courtesy of Siemens.

I have no problem with updating it - really updating the ending - etc...but if the basic historical premise of the history of earth goes away... then why not just finish off EPCOT and make it a Gee whiz amusement park also...I hope this is not the case.

You certainly gave the impression that this particular Glendale type was someone you had strong negative feelings for, particularly with regard to his professional achievements, or lack thereof (like being "stuck" at Sr VP for 16 years). <<I'd like to hear that rumor because as far as I know the only plans for Epcot are the new Canada CircleVision, George Scribner's Three Cabs animation for Mexico and SSE going under at the end of '07 for a brand new attraction courtesy of Siemens.>> I get the sense that this has only been given a green light very recently. Perhaps it needs more time to surface up to the foamer grapevine? I dunno. And as for SSE... what happened to the ride system track being interconnected to the geosphere's support frame? I thought that Timer Racers was nixed because the current system could not be removed? Is the new attraction utilizing the same OmniMover system?

Clean out that pesky Smithsonian also. Over the top examples, sure.....but as far as theme parks EPCOT has been the one 'different' park from what anyone else has.....and the changeover from educational to thrills is painful. It's just my opinion and I'm one person, but it's how I feel. SSE is one constant I feel good about each time through...although would like to see the ending updated to always be current..

LOL! *snort* LOL!! That was a MUNI bus I was just on, not a turnip truck. And I didn't fall off; I simply tripped. But "A" for effort.
