    • The train announcement on Main Street ("your attention please...")
    • The smell when you walk into Pirates
    • The creak of the boats on Pirates
    • The music when you stand in line for Splash Mountain
    • The jazz music that plays at the Rivers of America
    • The sound of the trains on Big Thunder Mountain
    • The sound of the organ at Dumbo
    • The roar of the Yeti on the Matterhorn
    • The atmosphere in Condor Flats in DCA
    • The taste of a Dole Whip
    • The stretching room in the Haunted Mansion

and most magical of all to me:

Watching Sorceror Mickey shoot fireworks at the end of Fantasmic!

Kennesaw Tom: kudos to your first magical memories...I have to admit reading of your "family" reunion while standing in line brings me to tears. THAT'S what's good in the world.

First, his quiet life in the orange grove was interrupted back in 1955. But from the looks of it, his "wee snug little house" in the Jungle Cruise was sealed off to him later on.

IMHO, it should still be there, just a little more magic!

Oh! I love that story! I remember well going through those orange groves in the early days, up from Camp Pendleton.

We've GOT to get his little house opened up again. He's probably been homeless or hanging out in a churro cart.

Faith and begorrah! Bring back Patrick's home!

(Thanks so much for the information, Tiki)
