Here's a hint, both Democrats and Republicans are supported by the rich. Both are elitist, including the President.

Personally, I think the celebrities are still much better people than the corporate swine the Repubs are in bed with, even if their egos, and paychecks are horribly inflated. Opinions aside, we in Reno had the man in town today! Got some great photos of the motorcade, and the big blue plane! He gave a speech at a local house, shook some hands, held a few kids, and was gone so fast it was amazing. Missed out on the speech, but there will be more chances to see him before November.

But what's left to find out? Is it really so hard to believe that this is who he is? A decent, intelligent guy who doesn't get riled up too easily, would rather see things get done than be a partisan bulldog, that loves his family, that thinks government (whether you agree or not) can play a role in helping the less fortunate, that loves basketball? I mean, what the heck is there supposed to be? And which is it - is he the demonic monster we hear Fox News talk about, or his he this yawnfest?

FDR grew up in privilege, yet somehow had the common touch and a feel for how the average American lived. Romney really doesn't seem to have that. And when he tries to fake it, more often than not it's just painful to watch.

" It doesn't "put you in touch", but it also doesn't "put you OUT of touch" either. Politicians have to raise money to fund their expensive campaigns. However, unlike Romney, Obama doesn't say boneheaded things like: "Some of my friends own NASCAR teams" "We had to sacrifice to pay for college, we had to sell some stocks (while he and his family lived in a paid for house, courtesy of daddy)." "If you want to start a business, borrow money from your parents" And to top it off, he was a corporate raider who ruined many families economically as he got rich. Romney was born on third base, into a wealthy family. He never had to worry about money or paying for college, and his bone headed remarks are proof of that. He comes across as clueless about how the rest of us live as George H Bush did when he marveled upon seeing a barcode reader at a grocery store. He is probably equally clueless about how most workers struggle to find a good paying jobs and like most GOP candidates just chalks it up to "laziness".
