But with the way visitation has been because I worked the lat shift friday and they live 90 min into the woods, I was only getting to see them on Saturday night every other weekend. I have worked it out with the Ex so that I'll get them spring break and Summer. And I'll come up here and visit them fall and Christmas as My parents also live here in WV. You do what you gotta do.

They are in good hands with their mother and their step dad. He's a divorced dad whose wife ran him through the ringer. So he's in the dads corner. It helps when everyone gets along and understands reality. What matters the most is the kids, and that they know everyone loves them and that they will be fine.
