Not really. We've had a couple of earthquakes where the power lines were dancing while the street rolled up and down, but nothing too serious.

    2. If you had to do either without electricity or running water which would you choose to do without?

Electricity. Candles were always fun as a kid. We could just pretend to be Laura Ingalls and do needlepoint by the fire or something. Oh wait, we don't have a fireplace.. hmm well...

Yeah, I definitely need water. I have this strange hobby called "bathing". I practice it daily and get kind of upset if I can't.

    3. What T.V. show(s) are you most looking forward to this fall?

Medium. Oh and all the Law and Orders. Except not the one with Frasier's ex. She's just too weird.

Miss Piggy because she was modeled after me.

Most of my memorabilia is in boxes, except for my Disney stuff which is in scrapbooks. I also have scrapbooks of my sons' first years and of our family Christmases through the years. Someday it will all be in scrapbooks, sure!

    2. Welcome to Club 33. My name is pennyring, I'll be your server this evening. What can I get for you?

I will need you to read me the menu since I have never been before. If it has general cuisine then I would probably go for a chicken salad of some sort. Making sure I leave room for dessert! :)

    3. Which Muppet do you identify with most, and why?

Gonzo, he is my purple pal.

When we got married Grunpys brought to the marriage his Chevy Chevelle SS396. 4 on the floor. I'd never even drive a stick shift before. He had to teach me in that fast little car. I'm pretty sure that's when he started losing his hair...

    2. If you could meet anyone (dead or alive) who would it be and why?

    Walt Disney, course!

Actually, I'd probably like to meet Amelia Earhardt. She wat truly a pioneer in several fields!

    3. Tell us about your pets. Past or Present.

Past: A scottie dog (Chloe). Coolest dog around. She loved to bark, and I'd have to chase her around to pick her up, as then she would stop barking. She'd run from me, looking over her shoulder and barking..she never saw a tennis ball she didn't like!

Present: Boyd Bird, the Cockatiel. He only likes Grumpy. So he only listens to him. Stinker!

    1. What's your favorite time of year (season)?

I like Fall. Since I don't do heat well, Summer is not a favorite of mine. Fall in neck of the woods usually has pleasant weather and a break from all that hot weather. I'm a true "duck" and really like the rain that we have. That's why our scenery here is abosuletly gorgeous.

    2. Which sports do you watch?

One of the relief pitchers for the Arizona Diamondbacks wash my sister's neighbor, so if I know their game in on TV I'll watch it. I used to like the Seattle Mariners several years ago, but don't pay much attention anymore. Before the players became such drug abusers and nasty boys I watched the Portland Trailblazers.

I like to watch figure skating and during the Olympics I pretty much love all the Winter sports.

    3. If you could be anywhere in the world by tomorrow morning, where would it be?

I'd be on a cruise ship sailing through the Hawaiian Islands.

Kinda. I don't seek them out, but if they're on my tv, I watch them. Big Brother is especially hilarious because the houseguests always mistakenly believe they have "fans" in the real world. What is with Howie thinking he's a Jedi anyway? What a goob. We watch Survivor too.

The only ones I really liked a lot were The Mole and Murder in Small Town X. Anderson Cooper (CNN) was the host of The Mole -- he was so great! I'm happy for him that he has a real career now, but I LOVED the Mole.

If I had to pick one to be in myself, I'd go for Murder in Small Town X. Apparently, I'm the only person who watched that tho, since it was cancelled after the first season. I was so so so stoked that Angel won! I had been rooting for him all season and couldn't believe he was one of the firefighters in the WTC on 9/11. :(

Anyway, if MiSTX was still on, I'd rock at that. I love murder mysteries and always figure out who dunnit before the sleuth.

    >>2. I made my special lasagna tonight. Do you have anything that you make especially well?<<

I make a mean egg and cheese omlette. Oh and one time -- I made these awesome meatballs, but didn't write down the recipe and ever since , I can't make them worth a darn.

    >>3. Who are your five favorite Disney characters?<<

    1. Eeyore
    2. Stitch
    3. Tinkerbell
    4. Belle
    5. Kid Blink

Good questions, I'll pass them on to the next person... :)

I laughed a few minutes ago reading something that Friendofdd typed. He cracks me up.

I would be thrilled if I was going to Disneyland. I really miss it, I used to be able to go often but now that I am in Washington I am not as close to it.
I would be disappointed if someone said I had to go to New Orleans for a long weekend.

Do you still hold hands with your significant other? I have no significant other, waaaaa!

I went to my son's summer concert at school. It was very cute!!! I have never been to a "real" concert but have always wanted to go to a Reba concert.

    2. What's your sign?

    Taurus, I'm a bull!

    3. What is the most exotic thing you have ever eaten?

I'm a pretty picky eater so I don't try new things often, but I have had octopus before. Is that exotic? I didn't think so but maybe someone out there does.

Good question, lets do them again.

Billy Joel's final concert tour, '99 or 2000 I think. It was awesome!

    2. What's your sign?

    Gemini

    3. What is the most exotic thing you have ever eaten?

Hmmm....I have had alligator and buffalo. Eel in sushi, if that is considered exotic. Quail egg, that was gross.

I am a picky eater but will try at least a bite of something new, as long as it doesnt have bell peppers in it. The most exotic was snails, they were pretty good actually.

    2. What is your favorite holiday other than Christmas? Why?
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. There is no religiousness to it and it just is so somple, friends and family getting together and being thankful.

    3. What is your favorite way to spend a lazy day off?
In bed with cds playing, reading for hours.

If it is possible to be both experimental and conservative with food, that'd be me. I'll try anything once but overall I'm a pretty meat an' potatoes sort of gal.

Exotic things I've tried: octupus (as in sushi), escargot, wild boar, other stuff that sounds pretty run of the mill now that I am typing it out... gee maybe I'm not that adventurous in foods afterall.

    2. What is your favorite holiday other than Christmas? Why?

My favorite *holiday* is International Talk Like A Pirate Day, of course. But, in case that doesn't count, I really love Thanksgiving. I guess that's not so pc anymore but I think the tradition of a big family/friends meal that is about sharing and gratitude is worth celebrating whatever the origin. I get really, really annoyed when stores have Christmas stuff out before Thanksgiving.

    3. What is your favorite way to spend a lazy day off?

Well, it used to be normal stuff like read a book but now its *abnormal* stuff like *read* LP.
