Well, *perfect* would be waking up in some fantastic suite in some amazingly luxurious hotel where I would be waited on hand and foot all day - a day filled with massages and the like. or waking to the sound of deer rustling just outside my tent in the backcountry of Yosemite and breathing that fresh, crisp morning air and hearing all the wonderful sounds of nature. or a day like today - woke to the sounds of my children playing downstairs, got up made everyone breakfast, read the paper, leisurely cleaned at the house and did menu planning and other "womanly" chores like that, checked in on my email/im/LP through the day, played with my friend's cat I've been catsitting all week, plan on taking a short little nap in a couple minutes here and then I think I'll watch POTC with the kids (would watch Princess Bride but I don't have it. lol) and then end the day with a nice salmon bbq out on deck. *sighs* I love my life. 2. It is just so beautiful and there are all sorts of things to do no matter what your interests. On the other hand, the Oregon coast is just beautiful and storm watching there is great. On the third hand, downtown Portland has some really cool stuff and I don't want go give Eastern Oregon short shrift cause there is some great hunting and fishing and cowboy stuff to do out there too. And I do love horseback riding and stuff like that. I would love to spend a week like at a dude ranch or something like that. *sighs* I love Oregon. We really do have it all.
