I'm one month into my volluntary unemployment, but since I'm remodeling my room and not bringing in an income I'm not doing what would be my ideal... Find another adult as a travel companion and take Kyle cross country to Disney World, maybe camp all the way there.

Originally Posted By tapdancemom 1. If you had to make a choice would you rather act or sing? Why? Sing, I used to sing with my youngest dancers (3 & 4 yr olds), but they loved my anyway, even when I was off key. Always wished I had a better voice. 2. If you have pets do they sleep with you? Had a dog once that would sleep under the covers down by my feet. No pets now though. 3. If you could have a month off from work what would you do, how would you use your time? If money was no object I'd head for WDW and then a Disney cruise. If money was an issue I would take a week to clean house and then sleep in most every morning, see some movies during the afternoons and spend more time with my DH. ---------------------- 1. Originally Posted By TALL Disney Guy 1. Havew you been to the Blue Bayou since it re-opened, if so what did you think of the new menu and if not, do you plan on it for your next Disneyland trip? I've never eaten there, only seen it the one (so far) time I've ever been to DL. 2. What was the last movie you went to, did you enjoy it? What is the next one you plan to see? "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", and I did NOT enjoy it--I started out believing I was, but I was left so empty and cold and disheartened and just betrayed... 3. What is your idea of a great way to spend a lazy summer day? Lie outside in the sun on a towel in the grass by a lake, listening to favorite easy-listening music. Same questions (I feel a little guilty for havin' to "throw away" the Blue Bayou question, lol)
Originally Posted By chickendumpling 1. Havew you been to the Blue Bayou since it re-opened, if so what did you think of the new menu and if not, do you plan on it for your next Disneyland trip? Haven't been there since the re-opening. But, I love that place and I can't wait to go again and I always, always, always eat there when I go and next time will be no different. I already know what I will order! LOL (An $18 Monte Cristo) 2. What was the last movie you went to, did you enjoy it? What is the next one you plan to see? Garfield II. Blech. POTC!!! As if it'd be anything else! LOL! 3. What is your idea of a great way to spend a lazy summer day? Ohhh, so many options.... laying on the beach or sitting out on the deck reading and taking in the view are two that immediately come to mind. Same questions again please.

When I was there last month they were taking a few reservations early morning, the rest were reserved for cast members and invited guests. My sisters and two nieces and I will be celebrating one of the sister's birthdays in August. I usually get the Monte Cristo, but am going to try something else this time. 2. What was the last movie you went to, did you enjoy it? What is the next one you plan to see? I took my grandson to see Cars last week and we both really enjoyed it. I want to see Superman next. 3. What is your idea of a great way to spend a lazy summer day? Let's see, how about relaxing with a good book on the porch, with a nice glass of iced tea. Better yet on the balcony of the cruise we're taking next month. ----------------------- New round of questions: 1. I just got a new computer after not having one for a month, if that was you what would you have missed the most during that month? 2. You're hosting a barbeque, what are you serving? 3. What is your favorite and least favorite Disney parade?

What is your favorite and least favorite Disney parade? Fav: Mainstreet Electrical Parade/Disney Electrical Parade Least fav: That Light Magic mess that replaced MEP and the "Chucky Doll" parade at WDW MK 1. Originally Posted By Lisann22 1. Have you EVER eaten at Blue Bayou, if so, what did you order (or your favorite if you've been many times)? Yes, many times. I tend to get a steak(the Prime Rib is good)or some seafood. I'm not a Monte Cristo fan. 2. What is your favorite land at Disneyland or MK? At Disneyland it's New Orleans Square, I miss not being able to hang there at night with Fantasmic always going now compared to when I was a kid. At WDW it's Epcot World Showcase! 3. What is or was your favorite pet or pets past or present? Oh man, we've had a lot of animals. I've had 4 cats so far in my life. Ajax my first kitty. I got her when I was 3 and she died when I was 18. OMG broke my heart, she was my partner in crime. A year later I got Pita - stands for Pain in the ..., she was my traveling baby, lived with me in LA, Chicago, Atlanta and NY, she passed when I was 35 from old age, she was 16. She was my BABY, so a beautiful and smart kitty. When I moved back to the Bay Area I took in a kitty named Ozzie, he was the most awesome handsomest cat I'd ever seen. He looked like a Panther with white paws. I called him Ozzie for Ozzie Guillen and the Chicago White Sox. He meowed like Edgar G. Robinson. LOL. Unfortunately when Pita was about 14, he disappeared from our home during Halloween. I searched and searched for days and weeks, crying myself to sleep night after night worrying about him. RIP Ozzie. Broke my heart. AND now I have Nicia, my kitty that my brother-in-law called me to come rescue one Saturday morning from a construction site. She was only 1 day old and weighed less than 1 lb. She really thinks I'm her mama. My aunt says she has anger management issues and Pixie Litter is scared to death of her. She is my Baby Baby. Spoiled rot and rules over our dogs. <a href="http://www.catster.com/pet_page.php?i=58121" target="_blank">http://www.catster.com/pet_pag e.php?i=58121</a> Which leads me to Sammy, my beautiful bodacious, Barbie Boxer. The SWEETEST and most fun loving dog I've ever owned. She is hands down the best dog I've ever had. I love her so much, she is such a kind soul, a protector and lover of all kids. <a href="http://www.dogster.com/pet_page.php?i=44708&PHPSESSID=f848370f83649b4718ece3b47bf12297" target="_blank">http://www.dogster.com/pet_pag e.php?i=44708&PHPSESSID=f848370f83649b4718ece3b47bf12297</a> and then there's the runt of a dog that lives with us, Simba. We took him in for my aunt who could no longer have pets in her condo. Ugh, he drives me crazy. <a href="http://www.dogster.com/pet_page.php?i=58149" target="_blank">http://www.dogster.com/pet_pag e.php?i=58149</a> Bet that was way more than you bargained for huh?! ;> ---------------------------------------- 1. Originally Posted By lil_kim2005 I like these questions, too =D 1. Give me your Top 5 celebrity hunk or hunkettes. Well, I'm not really one to swoon over celebrities' looks, so I'm going to pick celebrities over their skills (eg. acting, singing, etc.) rather than how good looking they are. Besides, I fear that if I did, I would end up listing all the typical celebs that teens ogle over. Orlando Bloom, Adam Brody, blahh. a. Johnny Depp b. Ewan McGregor c. Jim Carey d. Leonardo DiCaprio e. Tom Hanks 2. What really popular movie that everyone raves about do you just NOT get? I don't get Fast and the Furious, or any of its sequels, at all. 3. What is your most favorite non-ride thing to do at DL or WDW? I like to just go about and walk, take pictures, see if there's anything to do that I haven't done yet. I like to go into the shops, especially, and catch a show if there's one on, but I don't find myself doing that frequently. I'd have to say just walking around, going in and out of shops, LOOKING at stuff, and especially, taking pictures, lol. -------------------------------- 1. I like DCA, but Mulholland Madness is terrible in so many ways and I so passionately detest it because ____... EPCOT: Future World is not as fun as I remember, I don't mind Test Track and Mission Space I just miss Horizons and the good Journey into Imagination. The Health pavillion is always closed (Body Wars always made me queezy, but I enjoyed Cranium Command) and the Living Seas is only a big aquarium these days. 3. Which land in DL or MK do you think is the best for hanging around in during the A.M.? Which land is best for nighttime? Why? New Orlean's Square is in the daytime, lots of old world charm and I love walking through the Gallery and shops. It used to be Main Street at night, because of the lights, but with people hanging around for parades and fireworks it's just too crowded to actually enjoy. ========================================= 1. Phil Harris for sure! 2. Pick any Disney park that you ENJOY, but rant briefly about one (or two, or three) ride(s) that just spoils it. Eg. I like DCA, but Mulholland Madness is terrible in so many ways and I so passionately detest it because ____... I love Disneyland but the whole Tomorrowland needs to be revamped, it's just horrible. It used to be the happening place in DL, music and great rides. Now it's just tired and pathetic. They really really need to re-think this and quickly. It's also an eye sore. It's ugly and feels like a huge cement block of buildings. <sigh> 3. Which land in DL or MK do you think is the best for hanging around in during the A.M.? Which land is best for nighttime? Why? DL - New Orleans Square. I love the feel, the themeing, the music, the lights, it's just so cool. I sometimes long for the nights with no Fantasmic when you could hear the music coming from the French Market. ---------------------------------------- 1. Okay, some nice temperature...!??!! Hahaha I don't know. I'm terrible at this. State briefly what the room would look like. == Ahem, I believe turning my Ensuite into the Jungle Cruise, it would involve the loss of one of the spare bedrooms to turn into the river, this one is easy to do since finding jungly things for the washroom is easy, as well it's already plumbed. The tub of course will the the river rapid whirlpool if peril. 2. If you HAD to pick a job at a Disney theme park, which job would you pick? Eg. I'd pick portrait artist.
