I would love to play the evil queen in Snow White. I think it would be a blast. I love to be hated!

    2. Do you remember your first exposure to Muppets? (commercials, Sam & Friends, Sesame Street, Muppet Show, fraggles, etc.)

I remember as a little kid always singing the rubber duckie song, so I would have to say it was Sesame Street. I remember, too, that Big Bird used to scare the daylights out of me.
The Muppet Show was great, too, but I think Sesame Street was the first.

    3. When did you learn there are white pumpkins? (bonus: can you tell me if they are natural, "albino", or hybridly grown or specialized, or what?)

Believe it or not, it was about 3 years ago. I went to the store to buy little pumpkins for a gift project that I was working on and saw the miniature white ones. I was like "Whoa!".

Extra credit: CBS.com says the white pumpkins (which have the regular orange interior) are albinos.

    Questions:
    1) Do you allow your children or younger relatives see horror movies?

    2) Do you still own any article of clothing from your childhood?

    3) What is your winter holiday food of choice?

No, I don't like them myself and don't think they're appropriate for children.

    2) Do you still own any article of clothing from your childhood?

No, I have four younger sisters, so by the time they went through three or four more others they really were done being used.

    3) What is your winter holiday food of choice?

For a main dish it would be the roasted turkey with dressing. For fun stuff it would be homemade fudge and the krumkake and lefsa my mom used to make.

I'm really not sure. I might be working on turkey day this year. I enjoy turkey, dressing, cranberry-orange sauce, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and micemeat pie for dessert. ( I already got some spice cake ice cream for dessert too ).

2 . Do you watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade? If so, what's your favorite part, Broadway numbers, Rockettes, balloons etc.?

No, I really don't. Turkey day is trypically spent with family or friends. I don't watch any TV. Of course I use to march in my High School Band in the Macy's Thankdsgiving Day Parade so my family use to watch too see me on TV. I was in my High School Honor Guard and carried several different flags, but mostly the US flag, state of RI, California and Papal flags.

    3. What movie are you planning to see in the theater next and to rent next?

I really want to see the new Bond moive. I have been anxious to purchse Pixar's "Cars". So that might be the next moive I watch.

    Same questions as above.

I put up a tree trimmed with ornaments I've recieved as gifts and from travel and I put up lights outside. I usually do all this right after Thanksgiving.

    2. Do you have children? If so, how many...boys or girls?

I have one son, but his best friend is like a second son to me.

    3. Do you have any grandchildren? If so, how many...boys or girls?

No grandkids, my boy is only 10. But someday I'd love to have 2 or 3 (4?).

How long have you lived in your current neighborhood?

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be?

If you had the talent and/or education to be anything you wanted (career wise) what would you be?

We bought our new house 2 years ago.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be?

    Right here I love Australia!

If you had the talent and/or education to be anything you wanted (career wise) what would you be?

I would have liked to work with Australian wildlife and be an animal carer, like at the Zoo or wildlife park.

Good questions let's have someone else answer them as well.

    Exactly one year last week.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be?

I always thought I would like to live in Central Florida or maybe Tampa area, but I wouldn't want to move my children that far away from their grandparents right now, so I guess I most want to live right here in the Atlanta area.

Christmas Eve, when you're with family and still have the anticipation of tomorrow being Christmas Day---also the music.

I really don't like my first name (which is why I don't use it).

<What is one of your favorite memories from your childhood?>

One of many, lessee...when Dad would use Gran & Pop's ridin' mower to mow the lawn, then he'd sit me on his leg and let me ride with him on it back to Gran & Pop's, then we'd ride in his truck "down to the corner" (a store a few miles away) and get a candy bar.

Going to Disneyland with my parents

Do you decorate outside for Christmas?
When do you open presents...Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

What do you have for dinner on Christmas?

Yes! Love to. We keep it pretty simple though - Lights on the house, snow in the windows, Disney window clings, wreaths, poinsettias and we decorate all our outside trees. We had a great Blue Spruce at our other house that was the previous owners Christmas tree one year and then he planted it in the front yard. It was very cool. A few years ago the kids and I cut the tops off of a bunch of 2 liter bottles and then painted them and hung them as ornaments on that tree. The kids were so proud. :) So now we hang those ornaments every year.

When do you open presents...Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

When I was a kid we opened them on Christmas Eve. Then I got married and DH informed me I was a savage for doing such a thing. LOL. So for a lot of years our compromise was that I got to open a gift of my choosing on Christmas Eve but everything else happened Christmas morning. Then we had kids and by that time I had come to love the Christmas morning option and so that's what we do now.

What do you have for dinner on Christmas?

Hmmmm, let me think...Very similar to Thanksgiving really. Turkey, ham, cranberry sauce, all the usual suspects cause that's what we like. lol. Our desserts are where the big differences are - lots o' cookies and fudge and stuff.

Those were fun - same questions please.

Yes, but I prefer to decorate New England style. That means just a simple ( eletric ) candle in each window and a wreath on the front door.

My unltimate would be to put fir boughs around the foundation of the house but that would probably freak everyone in Georgia out.

<<When do you open presents...Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?>>

Christmas Day. Its my annivarsary so to speak.

<<What do you have for dinner on Christmas?>>

Growing up it was always Canadian meat pie. But since I typically spend Christmas Day in Virginia with the in-laws (( its their Annivarsary too )) we always have Virginia ham ( served cold ), mashed potatoes, some kind of biscuits made with baking soda, and typically vegtables like carrots and green bean cassarole. Oh yes and incredible egg nog. that has much more nog than egg ( best recipe in my mother-in-laws best selling cookbook ).

    Same questions.
