Originally Posted By Inspector 57 1. Do you watch reality tv? If so, which show is your favorite, and would you want to be a contestant on it? If not, which is your least favorite? I don't watch any of them. It's the fact that they're called "reality" and I think they're anything but. Well, that and the fact that I very rarely watch any TV. I've seen bits of Survivor, Fear Factor, The Swan, The Bachelor, and that one where the gay guy had to pick someone. They're all gross. Way too fake, too melodramatic, slowly paced, and overloaded with uninteresting stupid "interviews" with the contestants. Yuch. I find the whole premise of The Swan disgusting. The rest I just find stupid. I did see one gross-out trick on Fear Factor that was fun, though. Well, it was delightfully disgusting when the first couple did it. Got old after 5 repititions and all the interviews. (It was the "hagfish in the glass tank" stunt.) If I had to go on one of those... guy who picks a date. But I'd make it a comedy. 2. Do you play any online games? If so, which ones? What's on online game? 3. Are you, like me, anxiously awaiting the release of The Sims 2? If not, what on earth is wrong with you, ya goofball? Hey, I'm batting three for three here. From what I've heard, I'd become completely addicted to it if I ever played it. --------------------------------------- 1) New theme restaurant in DCA. Lushly decorated. Moderate priced. Serves alcohol. Children are allowed, but it's a place where adults could go for a nice (perhaps even romantic) dinner. Design it. 2) Tell us about a time when you got two friends from different areas of your life together. How did you anticipate it would go? How did it go? 3) Where am I right now?

I would probably put it in the San Fransisco strip area between GRR and the Golden Dreams theater. It would definately be designed in Victorian fashion. A separate bar for adults only with an adults only portion of the the restaurant as well. 2) Tell us about a time when you got two friends from different areas of your life together. How did you anticipate it would go? How did it go? There are a couple of times this has happened, but it's was at my wedding or a large party and wasn't paying attention to how they interacted. 3) Where am I right now? At the library in Ann Arbor?

No, but don't drink any milk, just don't like it. Eat cheese, yogart and ice cream though.

YOu were supposed to answer them honestly, which you did! Soooo, no rain here! And, I'm bummed I didn't get to hook up with TDL, either. But, there's always next time!

I'd be a Stage Manager for Disney. Preferably for the Festival of the Lion King show at DAK. 2. If you had to choose two foods and two beverages to eat for an entire month what would they be? baked chicken breasts and salad for the food. Water and iced tea for the beverages. 3. Who has been the biggest influence on your life? My Daddy. Everything good I do, I do for him. Everything bad I do, I attempt to rectify so as to ensure that wherever he is (if anywhere), he's looking down proudly upon me.

How many days a year would you like to be in one of the Disney parks?

Nope - haven't made it to Europe yet. It IS on my list of things to do in this lifetime, though. 2. Have you ever seen a real ghost? (if no, have you ever seen a fake ghost?) Yes. On the day of my Daddy's funeral, I saw him out in our backyard wearing his favorite plaid shirt and blue jeans working in the garden. My brother Frank has also seen him - woke up one night to see Daddy sitting on the corner of his bed. 3. How many days a year would you like to be in one of the Disney parks? 365. Well, except for Leap Years, then I'd want to be in 366 days. And, these questions are so great, let's do 'em again with one little change: 1. Have you ever been to Texas? and if not why not, ya freak? 2. Have you ever seen a real ghost? (if no, have you ever seen a fake ghost?) 3. How many days a year would you like to be in one of the Disney parks?

I do believe that people do though. I have heard strange things before though. 3. How many days a year would you like to be in one of the Disney parks? Well if money was no object I would live there!

Originally Posted By Inspector 57 1. Do you believe in ghosts and have you seen any? (hey, it's an interesting question!) No, I don't, and no, I haven't. (But come to think of it, I don't think I've ever been anywhere that's supposedly inhabited by ghosts.) I did have one experience that really shook me. While I was in college I worked part-time at a party store. It was a cool store, downtown, with high ceilings, creaky wooden floor; very big and open. One day there I was walking across the floor and a customer, a middle aged guy, was walking toward me. Our eyes met and... he "revealed" himself to me. I mean, he allowed me to see that he was not the man he was masquerading as. He was... someone or something else. He wasn't really old and slow -- he was a being full of energy, very intelligent, and malevolent. It was as though he was a demon (or something) who usually took the form of a younger man but who'd taken the form of this older guy for some reason that night. Anyhow, he "showed" me that telepathically for a second. Then he smiled at me. It was as if he were teasing me. "Now you know. And you don't understand it. But you can't very well tell anyone, can you?" I know. It makes no sense whatsoever. I didn't/don't even believe in demons. Whatever the vision/halucination/sighting was, it was very intense, though. Never saw him again. And, no, I had not been sampling the wares. 2. Do you believe in aliens and have you ever thought you saw a UFO? I think there could be other life forms in the galaxy, sure. When I was a kid growing up in the country we saw weird unidentifiable lights in the sky a few times. Figured it was an alien ship or a government test or whatever. 3. What is the scariest movie you have ever seen? I thought I might have a heart attack watching "Dawn of the Dead." The prior most frightening for me had been "Night of the Living Dead." "Alien" also scared the h-e-you-know-what out of me. ----------------------------------------- 1) What bothers other people that doesn't particularly bug you? What makes you want to say, "Just get over it, already." 2) Are you good at remembering names? What techniques or tricks do you use to help yourself with that? 3) You're playing shortstop at the big LP family softball game. The score is tied. No outs. A cute child of an LP'er burns one through the dirt directly to you. You have plenty of time to make the throw to first. Do you bauble the ball on purpose to allow the kid to get the base?
Originally Posted By Kar2oonMan 1) What bothers other people that doesn't particularly bug you? What makes you want to say, "Just get over it, already." Long list, offset by the petty crap that galls me but no one else seems to mind. Here's a few... race, gay marriage, DCA, it's a small world, sharp-edged humor 2) Are you good at remembering names? What techniques or tricks do you use to help yourself with that? Awful. Embarassingly awful. I'm so bad at it, that I am sure I have hurt people's feelings over it. I sometimes run into people I worked with on a daily basis a few years ago, and I instantly recognize the face, but the name? Forget it. My wife remembers not only the name of each person she has ever met, but also their significant others' names, the name of their children and what she was wearing the day they met. I'm not really exagerrating. It makes me crazy, especially since I am so BAD at remembering names. 3) You're playing shortstop at the big LP family softball game. The score is tied. No outs. I would try to make it to first base, but I'm so poor at sports that everyone in the crowd would say "Awwww. That Kar2oonman is so sweet, letting little Undertwo get on base that way by intentionally throwing the ball into the parking lot and running like such a spaz!"
