Not really. I watched a few just to learn the formula, and I'll occasionally watch if one is really well done or features an amazing product. But I generally don't have trouble turning the channel or turning off the tube.

    2. Who is/was your favorite MTV VJ?

I liked all of the originals, but wasn't gaga over any of them. Perhaps I liked Martha best. I haven't watched enough since then to be able to even name one. Did Kurt Loder do music news or something? I liked him.

    3. POP QUIZ!!! Do you know who Vera Wang is?

Yes, I learned of her at the big Meet last July.

(Insert wavy "flashing back to a past event" lines here)

*Crowd mills at Big Thunder Ranch. I-57 bounces between LP'ers, sharing happy greetings. I-57 suddenly spots threeundertwo looking absolutely resplendent in her stunning but tasteful separates. He makes a beeline to her.*

"Threeundertwo! You're here! OMG, you look fabulous! Is that Norma Kamali?"

Her expression transformed into one of scorn and pity: "It's Vera Wang, you imbecile. Now go get me some of that lemonade."

    1) What game show would you most like to be on?

    2) Admit it. You've fantasized yourself in this movie scene over and over. What is it?

    3) Recommend something.

Used to be Wheel of Fortune (which is still a hot contender), but of present day more "newer" shows, "Lingo"!

    2) Admit it. You've fantasized yourself in this movie scene over and over. What is it?

When I was a kid it was the "I Love To Laugh" scene from "Mary Poppins". *sigh*...oo, oo! And the finale of "The Neverending Story", when Bastian gets to triumphantly soar through the skies on Falcor and he gets his revenge on the bullies! Oh, *and* the Helping Hands part of "Labyrinth"! (Yeesh, sorry to mention 3!)

    3) Recommend something.

If you can find it, the out-of-print "The Carol Burnett Show: A Reunion" on VHS or DVD from 1993. Yer laughter will thank you.

Those questions were terrific, TDG! I'm just going to repeat them for my own questions.

    Take two??

    2. Lily of the Valley. These grew beside our farmhouse, and their delicate little bells and fragrance have always been my favorite.

    3. The only books I wish I could take credit for writing are the ones I have yet to write. I've always toyed with the idea of writing a book (so who hasn't?), but it hasn't happened yet.

There. Okay, somebody else take a crack at TDG's wonderful questions!

    1. You've just won hundreds of millions of dollars in the lottery. Yeah yeah, sure, ya give some to fam'ly and friends and pay off some bills, but what are three self-indulgent things you would fer YOU?

    a. Visit ALL of the Disney parks
    b. Buy a Cadillac Escalade.
    c. Buy a few draft horses and build a really nice barn for them to stay in.

    2. Since Spring is under way, what's yer fav'rite type of flower and why?
hmmm....I like all kinds of flowers, but I would have to say my favorite "spring" flower is dafodils. They are just so pretty and I love all of the different varieties you can get now.

    3. What books do you wish you could take credit fer writin'?

Lemmee see, I never thought of that! I would have to say the "Carl" childrens books - about the rottweiler and the baby that have all kinds of adventures. I know they don't have words, but I just love those books - they don't need words!

If memory serves me right, that was from 'Cabin Boy' starring Chris Elliott. The line was spoken by The World's Greatest Oscars Host, David Letterman, who also used it as a comedy bit when he was hosting in '94.>>>

You are SO right - ya know, I'd totally forgotten where I got that from. Just latched on it, and one of the ways I can easily amuse myself is to ask folks if they wanna buy a monkey. THanks for posting that and you're right - Dave Letterman DID say that to Chris Elliot.

Maybe this explains why I REALLY want to get myself a sock moneky. ;)

Oh, MAN - that's a good one, and quite hard.... hmmmm.... I'll say Alison Moyet - she's got SUCH a great voice!

    2. If Barbara Walters interviewed you, what would you love the main focus of the interview to be?

My family and how wonderful they are. :) Yes, I'm a sap and I know it. But I honestly do love my whole family from Mom to Granddad, to aunts & uncles to siblings, and my brother's kids. I am SO PROUD of my family! :D

    3. *Disney*-wise, what decade would you love to live in, and why? (strictly fer Disney reasons)

I think the 1960s - Walt Was still around for the first part of the decade, and I think I've gotten the impression that Disneyland really went through some good changes in the 60s.

And then, non-Disney, of course, I still feel like I should have been born in the mlate 40s or early 50s so I could have been a Hippie. LOL

Now, the next post shall have my Questions!
