Well, I really, really wanted the Tinkerbell cosmetic bag at World of Disney but it was $30! So I went the cheaper route and bought a character themed one for only $15 at the Character warehouse. A Daisy Duck Pez dispenser (for my collection). And an August birthstone charm for my Italian charm bracelet to commemorate the trip. 3. No, I wouldn't give a recycled gift (see above for reasons ) I wouldn't get a cheap gift either, I would either ask to throw the name back in and pick another, or if that was NOT an option I would do the right thing and let the holiday spirit take over and get them a nice, thoughtful gift...(this has happened to me..) 3. I am very gracious when somebody opens their home to me and I never turn down a thoughtful invitation. I love to make friends and I enjoy going to holiday parties, I've never tried to get out of an invitation, and if I was a little glum about a party I NEVER regret going after I'm there...wait, maybe I'M the boring neighbor...AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! Ok, here goes... 1. what is your FAVORITE holiday food/recipe...I would love a new recipe, if you don't have, just list the names/discription... 2. I don't really have a favorite holiday recipe. We keep cooking simple on Christmas Eve, usually appetizers and it's become tradition for me to make a seven-layer salad. Goes like this: Prepare 24 hours ahead of time: In a 13x9 (I actually use a 15x10) glass dish layer the following: 1. Chopped lettuce (I like a combination of iceberg and green leaf) 2. Chopped green onion 3. 1 to 2 cans drained sliced water chestnuts 4. 1 large package frozen petite peas (thawed and drained) 5. 1 container of sour cream mixed with an equal amount of mayonaise (spread it over the peas like frosting) 6. Two to three cups of salad shrimp 7. Shredded swiss cheese Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate. As mentioned above, it really needs 24 hours to meld the flavors together. 2. If you can spend the holidays in ANY country or vacation destination (besides DISNEY..) where would you go? I would love to go to the home of my ancestors: Prague. The photos I've seen are beautiful. I would love to walk the streets my grandparents walked. And then take a side trip to Disneyland Paris. 3. If you won the lottery, what would be the very first thing you did with your money? Put it in the bank. Call my attorney and my accountant. Start making lists of how I could bring pleasure to my friends and family.
