Originally Posted By tapdancemom 1. Do you prefer a white Christmas or a sunny warm one? A white Christmas. Where I live that almost never happens, but it's not warm and sunny either. One year though when I was about ten years old we came out of midnight mass on Christmas Eve and there was a thin blanket of snow on the ground with more coming down. It was absolutely beautiful and special. 2. What is your favorite holiday movie? Do you own it? I love the Original Miracle on 34th Street and A Christmas Story but don't own either. 3. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Growing up we opened all our gifts on Christmas Eve. When our children were born we decided to do the one gift on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas morning and we have continued that tradition for the most part. ------------------- 1. Have you been to a Disney park at Christmas time? 2. Do you stay home for Christmas or visit relatives? 3. What is on your Christmas dinner menu this year?

I've been several times to DL Resort and once during Christmas at WDW. 2. Do you stay home for Christmas or visit relatives? Christmas Eve is usually at home, Christmas day is at relatives, unless it's my turn in the house rotation. 3. What is on your Christmas dinner menu this year? This year I'm having Prime Rib, artichoke/spinach stuffing, carrots and zucchini, baked potato, rolls and salad. At our big family Christmas it's massive food... Ham & Turkey, sometimes Roast Tamales Chiliquiles Rice & Beans Stuffing Mashed Pototos Yams Green Beans Carrots Potato Salad Macaroni Salad Green Salad Jello Salad and tons of goodies. ----------------------------------------- 1. Do you go see the Nutcracker each year? 2. Do you have favorite Christmas movies/shows that you watch faithfully each year, if so, which ones? 3. What is your one favorite ornament or decoration that you put out each year and why is it special?
Originally Posted By goodgirl 1. Do you go see the Nutcracker each year? No. Not every year. Usually when I can round up some girlfriends. 2. Do you have favorite Christmas movies/shows that you watch faithfully each year, if so, which ones? I try not to watch the same movies each year. For example, I have skipped It's a Wonderful Life for two years now. Next year I will watch it and it will be like a "new" movie to me. This year it's Christmas Vacation. I haven't watched that one for a couple years. 3. What is your one favorite ornament or decoration that you put out each year and why is it special? I don't have one favorite. Each time I go somewhere I try to buy something to hang on the tree. I've done this since college. I have some dated "1977, 1976, etc." Peanuts ornaments from back then. As I hang the ornaments, nice memories come back to me of trips from the past.

The Caribbean, on one of the Disney cruise ships, with hubby, daughter and grandson. If one of the days stopped in St. Thomas I would want to meet TiggerPooh. 2. Sometimes the rescue mission in town too. 3. What is your favorite "pop" Christmas song and your favorite "carol." "Carol" - Birthday of A King and Mary Did You Know? Originally Posted By goodgirl 1. If you could celebrate Christmas in another country where would you go and why? Well, if I could have a good LP friend or two join me, I think Tokyo Disneyland or Disneyland Paris would be fun. Or, if I couldn't go to a Disney resort then I would choose the land of my grandparents and go to Prague for Christmas. 2. Do you give to any charities during the Holiday Season? I have a couple charities I give too. I also set aside money to do something special for people I know who might be having hard times during the holidays. 3. What is your favorite "pop" Christmas song and your favorite "carol." I listen to a lot of holiday music by a varity of artists. I don't know that I have a single favorite pop tune or carol I could identify. The newest CD in my collection was a gift. It's by Donna Summer and I love it!

Originally Posted By TiggerPooh1973 1. Desribe what happens on Christmas Eve in your household. Well we always watch a Christmas movie or two. This year we are going to my mother's to do my great grandma's cut our anise cookies to decorate with the kids. We will probably watch Christmas Vacation over there, the kids love it. Then I put my son's presents under the tree after he goes to bed. We put everyone elses presents out before, but his go out after he's asleep, lol, I don't know why. 2. Describe what happens on Christmas Day in your household. Well we wake up and open our gifts of course!! Then after that we head over to my hubby's parents house where we have breakfast (brunch really by the time we eat) and exchange gifts with his family, everyone meets there. Then it's of to my mother's house where all my family meets up to exchange gifts. We hang out there for a while and then we head back home to get ready for Christmas dinner at our house for both families. 3. Is there anyone in your household who still beleives in Santa Claus? We all do of course, don't you? ;-)

Describe what happens on Christmas Day in your household. My parents usually wake me (and hubby!) up when my brother and his wife arrive. We eat cinnamon rolls and bacon then open presents from Santa and the immediate family and my dad's side of the family. We also open stockings then it's off to visit the rest of the family! Do you have any New Year's resolutions in mind? If so, please share. I'm slowly but surely losing weight and inches. I joined Curves three months ago and my resolution is to continue to go because I'm feeling SOOOO much better now! I'm also hoping to get better at cooking at home! We eat out too much which is not helping the first part of my resolution. OK, how about some new questions: 1. What's the best gift you've gotten for someone this year? 2. What do you hope to get from Santa? 3. What are your New Years Eve plans?
