About the only thing I do that comes closest to "sports" is defensive hand gun shooting--and I haven't done that in months. It involves shooting at a variety of targets, usually with some sort of movements involved. You're timed. You have to make split second decions: if you miss a target do you waste time by trying again or do you move on. I'm not very good at it but it's something I found that I enjoy. Even more fun is there's only one or two of us girls. Nothing better in the morning than the smell of gun powder and testosterone.

I don't watch any sports. Oh, when I've dated guys who are into football or basketball, I'll follow along but on my own, I've never been able to sustain an interest.

    2. You and I are going to spend a weekend together. Plan the perfect weekend for us. (Keep it clean, people, the only reason I said weekend instead of day was in case we needed more time for traveling or so forth). :)

I'm not sure if I'm answering this for Pixie or tapdancemom, but since tdm lives where I do, I'll go for Pixie Glitter.

It's most likely that the entire weekend will be spent talking. I think a great place to do this is the Oregon Coast. We can rent a house or condo on the beach. Enjoy good food, peruse some interesting shops, walk along the shore. Maybe dine out at a good restaurant for some of Oregon's fresh seafood and wine.

    3. You have to choose only one item from each food group, and one snack item, to eat exclusively for one week. What would you choose?

Okay. I just spent 10 minutes on this. First trying to remember what all the food groups were. Then trying to pick one thing for each. No. No. No. This question is awful. I would be in such a nasty mood by the third day I would strangle you!

He's a harbor pilot, brings all the ships, cruise and cargo, in and out of port.

    2. Does your spouse / significant other share the same interest in Disney(land) that you do?

WDW, yes. And he loves the movies. I have no problem getting him to go to WDW or DL for that matter!

    3. How do you describe LP and your LP activities to friends and family?

Umm...I don't? lol My hubby knows about it, but that is probably it. He "gets it" most of the time I think. It's never really come up where I have had to explain it to anyone else really.

Sweet, I think. Gotta have my salty snacks! mmm!

    2. What is the last movie you saw and what did you think of it?

Stuck On You - pretty good movie - funny, but predictable. :)

    3. What is your favorite "night out" activity?

Dinner & a play - preferable Tex-Mex for the dinner and comedy or musical for the show. :)

    Probably salty, love that chocolate.

    2. What is the last movie you saw and what did you think of it?

It was THE POLAR EXPRESS, after Christmas no less. I loved it. Clever animation, music was good, beautiful little story.

Dinner and a movie or play. Seafood for dinner and whatever I can get hubby to see.

Probably local food if they want to. Otherwise seafood.

    2. You want to show them the sights in your town, what do you do?

Go to the beach, take them up the Tramway for the views and a Bushwacker, Mountain Top for views and shops and a Banana Daiquiri. I would also take them to St. John.

    3. They insist on staying at a hotel, are you disappointed they aren't staying at your house?

Well depends on who they are, lol!

DragonTales. It's very inspiring to me in my writing for young people; I love it's imagination and colors (and all the "real/adult/live action" shows I love are before this decade).

    2. What is your favorite movie of all time and why?

"Sleeping Beauty". It the most beautiful film Disney ever made, both visually and musically. I love the rich colors, the majestic pageantry of the presentation, the delightful characters, the wonderful songs...*sigh*. I could go on and on.

    3. What is your favorite musical? What is your favortite song from it?

This is hard to say cause I like a lot on the same level...right now I'll say "Alice Through the Looking Glass" from TV in 1985, and my favorite song from it is Carol Channing as the White Queen singin' "Jam Tomorrow, Jam Yesterday"!

I like clam chowder, lobster bisque, cream of mushroom, cream of broccoli....I am a soup person, I like lots of them. Oh and French Onion!

    2. Where do you think would be a fun/interesting place to have a new Disney park?

How about in my backyard? :D OK, Maybe Australia. That would be another reason to visit!

    3. I'm comin' to stay at your place while I recuperate from my oral surgery. What would you do to keep me comfortable/entertained?

We could watch Disney movies on my 65" TV! We'll start with Sleeping Beauty. Then we'll play Disney Scene It! We could also play some other games as well, how about Haunted Mansion Clue? I'll heat up some pizza rolls!

Someone else go ahead and answer TALL's questions, I like them!

I LOVE clam chowder and potato soup. There is a restaurant in Portland that makes a really yummy beer cheese soup that the best I've had. A nice homemade chicken noodle, with Ream's noodles of course.

    2. Where do you think would be a fun/interesting place to have a new Disney park?

Well I guess it should be warm and sunny so my neck of the woods would be out. How about Dallas. Hubby's sister lives there, we would probably visit more often.

    3. I'm comin' to stay at your place while I recuperate from my oral surgery. What would you do to keep me comfortable/entertained?

Well for starters I'd make you a nice smoothie or maybe a frozen Margarita in my Magic Bullet blender. Then we would watch my Mickey Mouse Club DVD that my Bash Pal William got me for Christmas. I know you're WAY TO YOUNG to have seen them as a youngster. We could finish off the evening playing Disney Trivial Pursuit.

Actually not, tdm...I *did* see 'em as a youngster. When I was growin' up my grandparents had The Disney Channel, and I'd often see 'em on afternoons after school.

Okay, yeah, so it wasn't during their first airing, but still! lol :p

First I'm not sure, I was 7...but I remember "It's a Small World" and "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" in WDW, so I'm sure it's a ride like that. The latest new ride for me was any ride in DL (lol), but really new ones for me (ones not at WDW) were Mr. Toad, Soarin', and CA Screamin'.

    2. When was your last Park visit and when is you next one?

My last one was last summer's DL birthday-LP Meet. As for my next visit, I would *LOVE* to make it to DL's 50th this year (and an "LP reunion" at that), but it's too soon to tell.

    3. Fave Disney snack, beverage and meal?

Well, I haven't had churros or popcorn, but I did enjoy most of my Turkey Leg; but I also loved the Dole Whip. Beverage, umm..water? lol I can't remember any other real beverages...but my FAVORITE Disney meal so far BY FAR has been lunch in the Colonial Liberty Tavern in WDW's Liberty Square! mm-mm-*MM!*

I gotta go to bed, and I'm tired---same questions, these are fun!

Dumbo is the first ride I remember going on. I remember I would NOT ride the Storybookland Boats 'cause I was scared of Monstro.

    2. When was your last Park visit and when is you next one?

My last park visit was last year February for 3 weeks, it was my honeymoon. My next one will be for the 50th at DL unless we head to Florida for some reason before that.

    3. Fave Disney snack, beverage and meal?

Fav snack, I have lots. I love the sour gummy Mickey heads from the candy stores. Also Mickey Ice Cream Bars, churros, and I tried a Beaver Tail last time and it was good. Beverage, is Dole Whip a beverage or a snack? Meal, that is a tough one too. Some of my favs are the buffet at Boma, dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, and dinner in Cindy's Castle.
