Winners could trade with other recipients. It got real silly. Everyone had a lot of fun. It was also the Monday following all the other meet activities so people were relaxed and tired and the setting outdoors was lovely. Even the Pooh characters were tolerable. Some people couldn't come because they had already left town (you can't please everyone) and some couldn't afford the $20 for breakfast (but hey, Disneyland is expensive). It is stressful to coordinate a meet and it takes a lot of work but it is fun to see everyone having fun. I'm not doing one this year; I think it's good for others to have a turn. 3. How will you remember this occasion? Pictures, video or by memory? I take photos and I usually download the better shots taken by Iceknyght, Blacksheep Uncle and Darkbeer. I used to write long detailed trip reports but it gets harder to do with each trip. I usually scrapbook my trips.

I used to be a very sound sleeper. But now that I've gotten old and decrepit, I can't sleep with much noise. And several LPers, (who shall remain nameless but their initials include goodgirl, quincytoo, and lisann22), euphemistically call their snoring "cute little noises." On our December trip to DLR, I was treated firsthand to a demonstration of cute little noises, compliments of quincytoo. These so-called "cute little noises" could best be described as the sounds an enraged grizzly bear with severe sinusitis might make. Now in her defense, quincytoo is the most delightful roommate you could ever imagine. . .with the teeny tiny exception of those cute little noises. I have suggested that potential snoring roommates might do me the simple little favor of having major surgery to correct said snoring, but amazingly, none of them are willing to do this small, small thing in order to room with me in July. So alas, I am unable to room with goodgirl, which deeply saddens me (ragged sigh). And now, the knife has been shoved ever deeper by her statement that I kicked her out. Oh, the agony!! Thank you.
