Only if the skinny young chicks diss the older fat broads.

Wearing your pants up to your nipples is as bad as wearing them down under your butt cheeks.

Let's do these again, so Kar2oonMan can get more fashion advice.

I'm lucky enough to have been there twice.

The first experience was brunch, and it was lovely. Of course, there was the simple thrill of being in this exclusive, historic, "secret" restaurant. It was wonderful to leave the hustle and bustle and scorching mid-day sun of Disneyland and sit in a quiet, civilized setting. It was cool knowing I could've had a drink. And not least of all, it gave me a leisurely two hours with -- what, eight? -- other LP'ers. I LOVE relaxed conversation. It was a rare setting for that. And the food was very good.

That said, $70 is ridiculous for brunch. And if you take away the history, Club 33 is basically a nice country club -- not some incredibly transcendent Disney-filled wonder. I'm very glad I experienced it, and very grateful for the invitation, but I wouldn't do brunch there again.

The second time I ate dinner with three friends. Once again, the restaurant was the perfect antidote to the mad scrambling around the Parks I'd done for five days, the company was *truly* delightful, and the food and wine were *very* good. I did not want the meal to end. THAT I would do again in a heartbeat. (The food was expensive, but not moreso I suppose than your normal tres chic and trendy high-end swanky joint.)

    2. Tell the truth. . . have you ever fantasized about being on a reality show? If so, which one? Do you think you would actually do it if you had the opportunity to do so?

I can't say which one, because I've honestly never seen a whole episode of any. I don't know how they work.

I don't think I'd go on any of the current ones. From what I've seen, they're full of manufactured drama, fakey developments, and/or mean deceptions.

If there were a competition show in which people just straight-forward tried to win, and the broadcast didn't consist mostly of hyped-up narrative and instant replays, HECK, YEAH, I'd do it! I've wanted to be on a challenge show ever since I saw "Shenanigans!" as a kid. Make me swim with sharks, redecorate a room, go on a series of dates, whatever! I love games!

    3. Which of the following most accurately describes your feelings about the Super Bowl?

    That would be...

    C) Eh. I might watch the commercials [and halftime] from time to time if someone else in the house has the game on [but I won't go out of my way for even those].

Not that I know of! I always give FANTASTIC advice or I don't give it at all.

Nooo that's gross... I like my water too much to do that to someone else!

Well #1 fashion tip I can give for ANY man over 40 is trim your NOSE-HAIR! LOL

and don't try and modernise by yourself, it's a waste of money, get someone with great fashion sense to come with you, also don't wear white sneakers! LOL

Definately when I was born is fine with me, 1949. I wouldn't be happy without the modern conviences we have today. God bless electricity.

    2. In our family when it's your birthday you get to choose your favourite meal with all the "works".
What is your favourite meal please describe in detail.

Let's start with French Onion Soup, then a nice Caesar Salad. The entree would be a Fillet Mignon, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Green Beans and for Dessert a slice of "Cheescake Factory" chocolate chip cheesecake.

    3. What movie star makes you melt?

George Clooney is pretty hunky, but I'm on the older side so maybe I should say Sean Connery.

    -----------
Let's do these one more time.

I like when I was born. What I wish I could do is somehow go back in time, put some money in Microsoft then fast foward to now-whoohoo!!

    2. In our family when it's your birthday you get to choose your favourite meal with all the "works".

Hmm, a nice Potato Cheese soup to start out then a nice steak with peas and steak potatoes. With a Coke to drink. Dessert would be chocolate cake with mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Jude Law. So delicious, so dreamy, so very scrumptious. And Russell Crowe, what a manly man. Yum!

Not counting my defensive handgun competition events, a Portland Trailblazer basketball game.

I am a network engineer. When I was growing up I really, really wanted to be a stewardess. In those days, it was just women in the industry and they were called stewardesses. I ate up Coffee, Tea or Me and any other book I could find about the life of a flight attendant.

The last cat who owned me was named Tia. I adopted her as a six-week-old kitten when I was with my first serious boyfriend. We shared custody, and Tia split her time between our apartments. She quickly ended up being primarily my cat. Two years later when he left me, it was Tia who would come and sit on my lap and purr loudly and frantically when I was crying.

I had to leave her with my mom for two years when I was away at college. She would give me the cold shoulder for a few hours every time I returned home for a visit (making sure to follow me from room to room and very deliberately turn her back to me when she sat down so I would be certain to get the message that she was mad). Then she'd be my buddy for the rest of the weekend until she saw me packing up to leave again. Frequently on those Sunday afternoons, she would walk up to me, bite me once, and walk away to hide someplace and sulk.

A few years later when I met the future Mr. Glitter, a confirmed cat disliker, it was Tia who converted him to a cat lover. After our marriage, she moved with us from Michigan to Texas in a rental truck containing all of our worldly goods. She went with us from apartment to apartment and finally to our house. She tolerated, and in some cases learned to love, the additional cats who joined the family.

She became annoyed at my ever-shrinking lap when I was pregnant with my oldest, and after little Miss Glitter was born, Tia was waiting with great interest when we brought our sleeping newborn home from the hospital. She carefully inspected every inch of the strange-smelling little imposter and seemed fairly accepting of her. . . until the baby woke up and started to scream. This caused Tia to make that classic cat face--a combination of horror and disgust--and retreat at top speed. Very soon, though, she adapted to the newcomer and frequently would be found napping a couple of feet away from the baby. A few years later when little Mr. Glitter was born, Tia was an old pro at the whole baby thing and didn't bat an eye at the noise or disruption. She would patiently sit with the baby even while he was learning fine motor control and would grab her tail or handfuls of her fur quite roughly--she never hissed or swatted at the children no matter what they did. If things got unbearably rough, she would simply retreat for awhile.

She died six years ago at the age of fifteen. Because by that time Mr. Glitter had developed a severe allergy to cats, she was the last Glitter kitty. I miss her sorely to this day.

    2. What do you do now and what did you want to be when you were growing up?

I'm currently a stay at home mother. Prior to that I was a third grade teacher and before that a vocational evaluator/counselor, career counselor, and youth crisis counselor. When I was growing up, I wanted to be a nurse, a psychologist, an actress, and many other things which I've since forgotten.

    3. What room in your house or apartment really, really needs to be cleaned, organized and perhaps spruced up?

None of the rooms are in desperate need, but the linen closet and kids' closets are beyond disgraceful.

    ********************************

And as usual when answering goodgirl's questions, they far exceed any I could think up, so I'm opting to do them again!

If anyone here snores a LOT, I beg you to please get an appointment with an otolaryngologist (ear, nose & throat doctor), ESPECIALLY if you wake up at all at night. You MAY have sleep apnea.

For our first wedding anniversary Barry bought me a beautiful Australian Kelpie that we named Tess.
I don't know if you have seen them on TV but they are the dogs that run across sheeps backs for the farmers to heard sheep in the Aussie outback.
She was very smart, agile and basically my baby. We could take her anywhere as she was so well behaved.

When we lost our twins, there were days I could not get out of bed and she layed with me her head in my lap just grieving along with me. I don't know how she "knew" but she just did. Barry says she helped us recover cause we had to look after her.

When she was eight years old we decided to renovate our bathroom & kitchen and so she went to my sister's farm for a week so she wouldn't get hurt by the builders.
    That was a HUGE mistake.
She had only been up there a day when my sister discovered her lying in her driveway lifeless and rushed her to the vets.
It's a three hour drive to my sisters house and I have never driven so fast in my life to get to the vets, I made it in under 2 hours.

I could see my sisters face and rushed to the vet, he told me Tessy had been poisoned probably by a bait on a neighbours property and her liver had substaned a massive injury that she could not recover from. She was unconsious and would not awaken from her coma and would die later in the night.

I ran to her cage and basically climbed in with her and held her crying and cuddling her.
Within an hour she had awoken from her coma and opened her eyes, licking my hand.
The vets could not believe it and were stunned at this little dogs courage.

Barry arrived and both of us sat in her cage with her for 2 days ( it was a hideous site ).
The vets tried to throw us out to a hotel but we would not leave her for one moment.
The liver read out for a normal healty dog should have been between 50-100 ( whatever's ) and Tessy's readout was 9,000.
They do not know how she recovered but she did.
The last thing the vet said to me as we transferred her back to our Sydney vet was " that dog loves you so much, she found the strength to recover and has taught me that animals do love their humans! " She did her job then huh!

Tessy went on to live with us for another four years after that and we were devastated when she finally left us four years ago but we were grateful for those extra years with her.
She "helped" us choose Woody our Golden Retriever, I'm sure of it :)

    2. What do you do now and what did you want to be when you were growing up?

I don't work now. I guess you could say I'm a lady of leisure. I have been doing "nothing" except craft since Disney closed down, as I don't "have" to work.
I'm getting bored though and will have to take on a new challenge this year :)

I also volunteer with my goldies visiting sick children and old people in hospital, they LOVE my boys.

When I left school after my HSC, I always wanted to be a Paramedic and was accepted into University but my circumstances changed and I couldn't go.

    3. What room in your house or apartment really, really needs to be cleaned, organized and perhaps spruced up?
None really, we only just moved here four months ago and everything is new and in it's place. I threw out all junk at the old house.

    My questions in a sec.
