I like it a lot better now than I did when I was a kid. I've always liked the names Emily and Leslie - but I think I'll just save those for my kids instead of myself! :D

Q2. Do you excercise? What do you do?

My job requires a LOT of walking, so I guess that's the excercise I get. We used to go to the gym but I hated it.

Q3. I know it's hard to select just one but what is your favourite Album
    ( music) of all time?

The soundtrack from "O Brother Where Art Thou" - I could listen to it over and over and never get tired of it!

I have an Italian charm bracelet that was given to me as a birthday gift last year! I don't have a favorite charm, however, I try and by a charm on each trip to commemorate it.

    2. What is your favorite part about the Easter holiday (besides Peeps :D)?

My favorite part is Easter Sunday, late afternoon, when everyone has left. The food is put away and the dishes are done. I'm tired and can go sack out on the couch and look through my easter basket of candy. (We are all adults. You bring your easter basket and something to put in every one else's basket.)

    3. Do you have an answering machine or voicemail? If so, is your greeting just normal or do you tend to record something silly?

I have voicemail at home but that phone is having problems so I disconnected it. When I had a greeting, it was plain jane normal.

Luckily, no. Closest thing was I did suffer panic attacks for several days many years ago, and before it was diagnosed, I thought I was dying each time one hit. Luckily, they stopped on their own.

    2. I've never had to change a baby's diaper. How's it done?

Hmmm. This is difficult without charts and graphs.

Okay, you undo the diaper, then lift the little one by the ankles a bit to skoot the used diaper out. Depending on the, uh, "situation" use use a few baby wipes or a lot. Slide a new diaper underneath their bottom, sprinkle a little baby powder, and fasten the tape (or velcro fasteners for cloth diapers).

TIPS FROM EXPERIENCE: Work quick, and mouth-breathe if you get queasy easily. In a filthy public restroom, though challenging it IS possible to do the change vertically. And if you're changing a boy, by all means, keep him covered just in case.

    3. How many pillows do you sleep with? Feather or foam?

Used to use two, now we splurged on some really good foam ones that have neck support. Took a couple night to get used to it, but now they're great.

No, but my husband sure does!! He lost one of our cordless phones last week and for the life of me I cannot find what he did with it! I have had to search the house on numerous occasions for his wallet/car keys/cell phone. If I come up with a plan a will gladly share it!

    2. What have you been putting off that you really need to deal with?

I trip to the dentist. Also cleaning out my closet.

    3. Would a person be able to guess your favorite color by seeing what you wear over the course of a week?

Probably not, I wear a lot of black, but purple is my favorite color.

I like these questions, let's give them another go.

Haha well Barry developed a system for me as I was always losing these things. As soon as I come home I hang up my keys on a cute little country bear hanger by the door. My mobile goes straight onto it's charger dock, the the remotes are always put back on whichever TV we are watching.
It does help that there's no little people here to interupt the system :)

    2. What have you been putting off that you really need to deal with?

Well I'm a "do it now" person so most things get done straight away, I hate to procrastinate!

    3. Would a person be able to guess your favorite color by seeing what you wear over the course of a week?

Not really as my FAV colour is Purple but that's not in this summer so I've been wearing lots of green to go with my hair!

First alarm goes off at 0555. Last one starts at 0605. I'm out of bed between 0615 and 0635 depending on whether or not I showered the night before, then out the door around 0650.

Q2. Do you sleep-in on the weekend.

I always try, but wake up by about 0700. *SIGH*

Q3. What would you buy someone for a 4oth Birthday party ( I have one on Sat )

Hmmm, depends on what they're into. Sorry I can't be more help here!

At his wedding a few years ago, I was his best man. The father of a good friend of his was the minister. The whole ceremony was beautiful, and everything was going fine, and then the minister said something like this... (can't remember word for word, but this is very close)

"Respect is so important in marriage. Wthout it, a kiss soon becomes a bite"...

(my brother and I flinch a little and make eye contact briefly... with "huh? THAT was random" expressions)

"And without respect, a hug becomes a headlock"...

(my brother stares straight ahead, wide eyed)

    "And sex becomes rape."

(My brother turns toward me with a "OMG! Please make him STOP!" expression. I am frozen in place)

"Domestic violence in our country and around the world is at record levels. Women beaten, raped, killed because of this lack of respect"

(now the whole crowd is squirming in their seats. Has the word "rape" ever been used at a wedding in the history of mankind? And TWICE, no less?)

Mercifully, the minister finished with that tangent and went back to standard wedding fare a few moments later.

My brother made sure that part was creatively ediited out of the wedding video!

Q1. What time do you get up on a weekday?

--A little after 7 am, definitely by 7:30. Sometimes my husband gets the kids ready and takes them to school so I can sleep. (I'm a major insomniac, so am often exhausted in the mornings.)

Q2. Do you sleep-in on the weekend?

--I sleep as late as possible but rarely get more than 6 hours of sleep.

Q3. What would you buy someone for a 4Oth Birthday party?

--Well, this won't help you much, but I just found out that Diana Krall is having a concert in Vancouver. I think it would be fun to take a mini-vacation and see her in concert. Anyway, if he is a music fan, then 2 tickets to a concert would be a cool gift. I think tickets to a sporting event would be good too.

    My Questions:

    1. Do you have any artistic talent or do you have any artistic hobbies?

    2. Have you ever dreamed of owning your own business? If so, what type?

    3. What is your favorite comfort food?

Just the obvious by my name, tap dancing, teaching and choreography.

    2. Have you ever dreamed of owning your own business? If so, what type?

I do, yipee, my own dance studio. Unfortunately it took me to age 45 to realize I could own my own business and not have to teach for other people.

    3. What is your favorite comfort food?

That would be ice cream for snackies and mashed potatoes and fried chicken if it's a meal.

    --------------

    Let's do these again.

I think I'm a jack of all trades, master of nothing type. I can do a little drawing, I'm crafty, I'm mechanical, I can do some graphic arts, etc. No real claim to fame though.

    2. Have you ever dreamed of owning your own business? If so, what type?

Oh yes! I'd love to do catering or party decorating, something in that field backed by a store. A small retail store to sell our native crafts, jewelry and run the other business out of. I'm actually about 2 years from making it happen. It's in the works.

    3. What is your favorite comfort food?

Oh lordy, too many to name. Food is my serious downfall. We use it to social in my family.

I'd say a slice of german chocolate or coconut cake.

Cannon Beach, Oregon. It's a little over an hour from where I live and beautiful part of the coastline.

    2. You can have any car you want but you have to give the same identical car to 3 other people. What car and who are the other people who get one too?

Hmmmm. I guess I would pick a Chevrolet Tahoe like my niece just bought. It has all sorts of bells and whistles and is very roomy and comfortable. That would be nice for my communte to work and I would feel safe on the icy roads in the winter.

The three people who come to mind are...
...wendebird so she can replace her new used sardine can
...Inspector57 so he can replace his, his, his, whatever it is that he drives but has to jump each morning during the winter to get it going
...roberts1398 because her little red honda just doesn't cut it for a family has large as hers.

    3. You can have one Disneyland building in your backyard - which one and why?

I have lots of room in the back (all the way down to the creek) and I think the Innoventions building could be plopped in there. I wouldn't mind checking out all the games and hands on stuff in there, I just don't want to do it at Disneyland. I also would enjoy haveing those Segways. And when I'm feeling blue I could always talk to the blue guy...Stitch!
