If I came to visit and we went out for dinner, describe the restaurant you would take me to....atmosphere, food, etc. We have an awesome Italian restaurant in Livermore that is out by the wineries. It has a huge cobblestone fireplace, tile and wood tables, you can sit outdoors, beautiful view of our hills and awesome food with a great wine selection. 3. I live in Oregon. Lost is about these people lost on an island in the middle of nowhere after a plane crash. Freaky things are happening here, awesome show! 24 is about Jack Bauer an ex CTU (counter terrorism unit) agent and the crap he has to go through to save the country from terrorist, again. It happens in real time and is AMAZING!

I usually have some sort of chores to catch up on around the house, doesn't mean I'll actually do anything about them if I'm in a lazy mood. Going out to lunch with the girls is always fun, maybe a little shopping. Every once and a while on a day off I'll go to a matinee alone and catch a movie hubby wouldn't care to see. Often I'll watch my grandson on a day off too. 2. What is a typical work day like for you? Usually will get to the studio by 9:00 or 10:00 and return phone calls and clean up a bit. This time of year I spend the next portion of the day checking on costume orders and getting the ones that have just come in labeled and ready to hand out to the classes that day. Maybe a little work on production for the June recital. Next it's doing any lesson plan/choreography that nees to be done for classes I teach that day, and then teaching two or three classes, attend to any "parent or student" problems that may have arisen and head home anywhere between 5:30 and 8:30 depending on which day of the week it is. 3. What are you most looking forward to this year? Definately the Disneyland/Las Vegas trip in July.

Originally Posted By goodgirl 1. Describe the favorite vacation you took as a child. I was five or six years old. My mom, my two older sisters (Sue & Pat), my brother Chris and my little sister Kathy all hopped into our Ford Fairlane and drove to Disneyland! This was in about 1961 or 1962. Actually, our goal was to visit my brother Jack who was in the Air Force and stationed down there. I *think* he lived in Riverside. We stopped at motels with swimming pools each night. We ate in restaurants. When we arrived at my brothers, we took day trips. One day Marineland (is that the name of it?), one day Knotts Berry Farm and one day to Disneyland. On the drive home we stopped at Crater Lake. When I made my trip back to DL for the second time two years ago, a lot of my childhood memories of Disneyland came back to me. It was awesome. 2. If you could live in any other era what would it be? I am happy right where I am. If I lived at another time I wouldn't be with my family and friends. But if I *had* to, I think I would go back to the 40's and 50's. It would be especially cool if I had my present day knowledge! I'd know which stocks to buy! Whether to go VHS or Betamax. Things like that! 3. Describe your typical work day. I come in by 6:30 am, log on to my PC and open up a huge excel spreadsheet which has all my network routines, logs and checklists. I start doing my stuff. It's things I don't care to do because they are routine maintenance things so I make a game out of it by seeing how fast I can get them done. When they are all done, then I spend 30 minutes on a network documentation project, 30 minutes on studying a new program, and 30 minutes reading technology literature, journals, etc. Then I look at my Top 10 list, pick the most critical project and start working on that. Throughout the day I am interupted by employees who have problems with their computers. I quickly resolve these and go back to what I was doing. I used to go out to lunch but to save money for an extra DL trip each year I bring my lunch to work and so I take the newspaper and go down to the lunchroom. I usually only take 20 to 30 minutes for lunch (unless I'm working on one of my "How I Spent My Lunch Hour Books") and then go back to work. I do this because I enjoy my work and usually want to get something crossed off my to do list that day. I get to leave around 3:30 which is nice. I stop and take care of an errand or two if necessary.
