Texas was just flat and bland, but with only 180mi on I-40 (and having half of that in the dark for our trip), it really wasn't too bad. We were quite surprised by how rolling Oklahoma was, and how many trees there were. While I still think "Oklahoma's OK" is a great motto, since it keeps your expectations in check, it did seem like a surprisingly nice place.
