The Northern part of Iraq where the Kurds live is VERY peaceful and doing awesome! Southern Iraq is also going very well around Basra. The problem has been the Sunni Triangle and even that has calmed down in the last few months since the Sunnis have become involved in the political process. Notice we are not losing as many soldiers these days!!
