Okay, woke up this morning with a bad cold. Finally made it to the closest grocery store to buy ingredients for the cookie dough I had to make today. The store was closed because of a gas leak/explosion thing that happened one street over from my house/the store. Very exciting. So, I try to head to another store that is close by. That's when my car started to overheat.

I just finished the 5 batches of sugar cookie dough. (I decided we might need an extra batch since there could be 20 people here on Sat.) I am completely out of flour now and can't finish the batch of gingerbread I need to make.

I still have to clean my shop, clean my house, finish the presents for my guests and bake those darn cookies. (And make the frosting and food/beverages for the party.) What in the heck was I thinking?!

I might go to bed soon. Or start eating the rum balls I made on Sunday. They ought to be pretty good by now. ;-)

Wrapping - not, shopping - well let's say my husband should be shot. He asked for Seattle Seahawks/Dallas Cowboys tshirts or sweat shirts for Christmas - and then bought some himself. He deserves what he's gonna get - NOTHING...

    I'm wayyyyyyyyyyyyy passed stressed now.

I still have 13 more calendars to print. Dumb printer keeps eating paper. The house is a disaster zone. Hubby thought he was funny and put caution tape all over in the dinning room, Holly's room (aka North Pole at the moment) and my office while I was at the neighbors house. I gave him a very evil glare and then told him NO SOUP FOR YOU!

Cub scout party is now done, so that is one less thing on the list. BUT Hollys birthday party is Sunday and also a gift exchange with part of Daves side of the family *still need to put together those gifts. In order for the 30+ people to fit in my house I have to clean it. My mom is coming over to help, she felt bad for me I guess LOL!
We are having lunch on sunday too but I am just going to do Tacos. Easy to do.

After Sunday things will be much smoother. I hope. It has not helped that little miss grumpy teething pants has not slept much in the last several days!

On the other hand, I'm sorry you're stressed out!

Good for you for ordering the cake! She's ONE year old. She's not going to appreciate whether you slaved over a hot oven or not. And the odds are 50/50 at best that she'll appreciate it when 20 relatives crowd around her and insist on getting pictures of her with cake smeared all over her face. (If only they had the motor coordination to fling cake into the crowd at that age!)

    Hang in there!

    And HAPPY HOLIDAYS, DARNIT!!!

The recipients had better darn well be happy, lol.
