It's funny that conservatives were able to make the "liberal" label a real dirty word, something to be avoided. And neocons, through their blind loyalty and undying support of every misfire, have unwittingly done the same thing with the label "conservative."

I haven't seen all that much blind loyalty and undying support by neocons, and I probably read more by them than you do. And I think there are still more people who proudly call themselves conservative than who call themselves liberal.

The times they are a-changin'. You can choose to believe that this administration hasn't unraveled the neocon cause if you like, but I'd disagree.

I think more people overall prefer to self-identify as moderate, libertarian, independent than get locked into conservative or liberal, by and large.

Just because I don't think the administration is both incompetent and evil doesn't mean I've given them blind loyalty and undying support.

So which is it? Do you think they are evil or just incompetent?

I don't think they are evil, but I think they've had moments of incompetence, just like every other administration.
