When we went to book the night (Friday 6/12) three weeks ago, the cheapest rate available at either DLH or GCH was over $800 (they had no regular rooms available). We ended up booking at PPH, which we don't like nearly as much as we like the other two, for $430 for the night. Yay us. At least we get our Disneyland fix in...I have been going through withdrawals.

Yeah...the 2 days/1 night at DL for the two of us cost about as much as the entire week-long trip to San Diego. I sometimes wish I have found a less expensive thing to geek out over...Disney is quite the expensive hobby!

We're taking a year off from Disney and going to San Francisco this year. My husband appreciates the Disney break. But we'll be going to the Disney Museum, which I can't wait for!

My husband has a computer geek convention in San Diego that is technically for work, but we have a lot of friends from all over the country who go so it is a lot of fun. It is in a different city every year. While he is doing sessions and things a bunch of other computer geek wives and I are going to hang out and do fun things. We are going to the zoo, and have a shopping trip planned and a beach bonfire and renting kayaks. There are also a lot of parties going on, and Aerosmith is playing at one of them, so it will be a lot of fun. I have to study the whole time though- I have my final exams the day after I get back. The Disneyland part of the trip is actually my nursing school graduation present from my husband.

Wow, you're amazing. I wouldn't be able to get past the zoo, shopping and kayaking!
