Is Glow Fest fun? :)

    That was pretty much my reaction as well. During the day, it makes the area look ugly. During setup, you get the feeling of "this just isn't going to work." But then when it gets dark and gets going, it works very well. If only they could cover up all of the bright colors and so on during the day, it might help, but I think the event itself is surprisingly well done.

Although I think it's odd that they put it in the middle of a busy area where people will have a hard time getting through. Why not use the old millionaire building and H and D. The Buildings aren't being used and then the gawdey and tacky decor wouldn't have to be out all day. Plus then it would be in a quiet area and indoors so they could have fun lighting effects.

    Are you sure it wasn't house or trance? Or big beat? Techno seems awfully hard for Disney (at least in this country).

    All of the music is techno...even the Journey and the other rock type songs were turned into dance mixes. But it works really well. They even have video of the UP movie and they make it techno. Even Buzz does a rapping-techno type segment. But again, it works for what the atmosphere is.

    The best part is seeing yourself as a shadow up on the Hyperion or up above the bathrooms by the Animation building. That is a fun, wonderful piece of technology which had me entertained for almost a half hour.
