the beer wasn't free ($3 a draft) but the stuff was. We got 2 different bumper stickers, a hot pink bottle koosie & 2 bottle openers. If I had 1 more I could have got a free tee but candy bar bingo was over so we had to get the DD's. I was hamered anyway!!

If you start with spit, chances are everything will be an improvement after that.

You're only consider hammered if while attempting to shout BINGO, you puke on the little old man sitting next to you.

I know I'm just a blip on the radar but in the 2 trips to Potter I've made in the last 3 weeks I've spent about 70-75 bucks compared to the 30-40 I've spent at WDW in the past oh 5 months (and thats WITH my 200 "free" dollars from my Disney Visa bonus)

I still have a wants list for Uni including a wand and atleast 3 more pins (rest of houses) WDW- No pins on the horizon I need or even want.

I think you answered your own question. Even during tough times if you have a unique and special product that people want, they will come.

Look at the cell phone market. The makers of ordinary phones, which are the lions share of the biz, are hurting. Meanwhile Apple has addressed what is decidedly a niche within the cell phone market with its iPhone and its doing great.

True, but there are only so many "rich" people out there. DL will be OK as its a "local" park, as opposed to WDW that relies on middle class families dropping 5 grand to enjoy the pixie dust.

It would be interesting to see what attendance and room booking number the Orlando sharp pencil folks came up with for "no free meals" vs. "free meals", especially as it has turned into a virtually year round offer now. I suspect the place would have been a ghost town without the free meals.

You probably would have felt much better had you limited yourself to just 1 of the 3 selections. But what the heck. You're probably already over the hang-over by now. :)

In a year? I think there is a very good chance that Harry will still be the toast of OTown. 5 years? Maybe not so much.

Depends on what the Mouse does (please don't let FLE be the actual "response"), if anything else at all.

Except that J.K. Rowling is getting nearly all of the merchandise revenue.
