    as a tip to all that are in the effected areas. Once the air cleans up again, change your cars air filter. All that you see is getting sucked in. Bad for the car if there is alot. Just a friendly tip.

    I can change a tire, and if pressed, I know the steps to change oil.

    Yes. Several varieties. With and without the skin, and I can do the purple ones, too.

    Alexbook, yes we still live in MDR but the management jerks of our apartment building stuck a new huge building between us and our view of Malibu. So I can't see it now. I should have looked on my drive home!

    I was at DLR Sunday-Wednesday morning. Monday we saw the most ash falling from the sky. I'd heard about the fire that morning and we headed out to line up for the early opening at 9 am. We were in line for probably 15 minutes when I thought my husband had dandruff all over him. After brushing him off I realized I had stuff all over me too and then realized EVERYONE in line was brushing themselves off! Thats when I figured it out. That morning was probably the worst of it though.

    I have a few pictures of the sky and the ash all over our rental car and even all over our balcony at GCH. It was interesting but really didn't affect our stay at all.
