WDW is a resort location. Compare its food prices to what they used to be. Compare those prices to DL ... or Universal Studios FLA or any like theme park venue. Compare what you get for your money now vs. what you got say a decade ago. Disney dining has gone around the bend with me. They wanted every penny I had, so now they only get pennies of my money in comparison to what they once did. There are plenty of great options just a few miles from the magic that won't gouge you and appreciate your business. But I am looking forward to dinner at the Cal Grill on VBDAD! This way, I don't even have to go without my favorite Disney dining locale and I don't have to give them my money either! ~Pass the Pixie Dust~

Maybe that is the reason prices are higher?< Last I can find Chicago $54124 Orlando $43207 - but I can surely tell you in a metro area of 7 million there is a huge range by zip code - and 11 of the top 100 cities by income in the US are in the burbs of Chicago -- there are also plenty of very poor areas that have to pay the same prices

I didn't think they would list the prices on line. Anyway a 1/4 pounder with cheese seems to be cheaper in Chicago than at WDW. What seems wrong with that picture? I absolutely Love Whoppers -em. I know what I'll be dreaming about tonight. Dave how far is it to the nearest McDonalds from your house. I know Subway is the only fast food joint in your town.

I would have never thought of that. You're going to make a find part of some lucky employers team.
