That's nice for them.

I thought the chain really became total crap about a decade ago and ate there maybe once in six months when I didn't have an option (and most are open til like 2 a.m.) ... but the last few years they have improved, new menu, better and more consistent quality. If you ever come to WDW when I am there, I'll take ya to the one in LBV and even pick up your drink tab! (and we both know you can put them away!) ~Pass the Pixie Dust~

Corporate stores charge what they are told... you may want to just blow it off but facts are facts. I used to be able to tell you most of the large franchisee groups, but it's been 6-7 years since she left so things can change. but hey, make your point - facts be damned. You may in fact still be right - but I don't know that for sure - and neither do you. and no - not the most expensive city on the planet - but yes one of them.

I'm just trying to explain why the costs can be completely different -- now although the rent McD's pays for the WDW property is likely outrageous- North Michigan Ave. is about as pricey an address as you are going to find rent wise here also. I am going to guess that because of the very tight ( trust mne almost incestuous) relationship between execs at Disney - Coke - McD's - Disney likely insists that the stores there be corp run so that their concerns if any would be fixed immediately. Corporate exec children usually work for one of the other 2 corps in this triangle.
