That's just too dang cold! lol.

Its not unusual get little to no snow at all in December here on the Colorado Front Range. On surefire way to get Fall or Winter snow is to have the Broncos play at home on Monday night Football. A blizzard is almost guaranteed.

It wasn't about you at all. For all who LOVE snow. Good, I'm glad it has a friend somewhere. It is like anything else that you get too much off, the wonder of it all can and does wear off.

Sure it's a pain to drive in and shovel or snow blow. And my drive way is at least 50-55 feet long, haven't measured yet but it's long. The problem is always the days after it gets cold so if you don't get everything cleared away you end up with a sheet of ice. Then you gotta buy salt, and take an ice scraper and chip away at. Then and this is the worst. As the temperature rises the snow starts to melt, okay that's not bad. But as it's melting it takes on this brownish/black mucky color that just is depressing to look at especially late February/early March.

Some friends from San Diego came up to spend a day with us. It was about 60 degrees that day and they were turning blue (they forgot their parkas) and were flabbergasted that we were ok just wearing a sweatshirt. I suppose that if they came out here they would shrivel up and die! Another memory is of a business trip to Stockholm. One of our travelling colleagues was from California. The day we were to visit a customer it had snowed. She just assumed that they would be closed. We laughed and told her to get into the taxi. The cabbie was thrilled that we were from Colorado. Turns out thet he was a big Peter Forsberg fan, and Forsberg played for the Colorado Avalanche at the time.

Ia actually laughed out loud when I saw them. Kids out here walk to school in sub 30 degree weather wearing light hoodies.

I enjoyed it while it lasted. What is it about snow falling that relaxes me so? It's just magic to me. *sigh* Nobody kill me for saying this but.... I wish it would snow again.

When we go out to the car to head out next month, the coats will stay home.
