Actually, people should just donate. It's a good cause.

What would you like Ursula to do? Donate and she'll do it. (within reason and Ursula has all veto rights to unsightly requests.)

Suggestions: Posting silly things in WE just to get the political people all riled up. (They don't read this thread, they'll never know it is for charity!)

LP Live: Would you like to see my office?

If you donate to Alexbook or anyone else, Ursula will shut up for a day!

ITS A LONG, LONG, LONG FRICKIN DRIVE!!

    Whew.
We had to take the 405 to the 22 to the 5 to Irvine Kia. It took FOREVER.
But, once we got there, the process was very quick.

We first had to sign in to advise what team we were a member with. Then we went to a second table to turn in our funds. Then we went to a third table to pick up our T-shirts and prizes.

The Kia dealership is very beautiful, and they devoted a whole separate banquet room just for the CHOC registration. The room has great big projection screens which show different CHOC stories about different family struggles. Be prepared to get dust in your eyes, people. The stories are very moving.

There is a great big quilt being raffled that is made from all of the CHOC shirts throughout the years. We bought a few tickets so wish us luck. They are also selling $2.00 bracelets (you know, those rubber thingys like the Lance Armstrong bands) and $5.00 reusable grocery bags. These bags will also be available at DTD right after the conclusion of the walk.

Just a note: The DisneyVoluntEARS shirts are very different this year. They are white instead of yellow, and have Mickey on the front in classic Mickey colors. The CHOC shirts are basically the same as last year.

    Turn Left on WALNUT AVE

Turn Left on PETERS CANYON RD and it's on the left hand side.

Park in visitors parking, and as you enter the main show room, you will walk through the show room to the right, and then turn right at the first set of double doors which should be open for you.

When you get to KIA, they need to know your with DisneyVoluntears so you can get the voluntEARS shirt (you get this shirt in addition to your CHOCWalk shirt)

(If I take the first bus of the morning, I'll miss the team picture. It's not the end of the world, I suppose, but it would be a shame.)
