But they are related, as this is now a expositional ride, so it works. I'd rather have El Rio 2.0...

He went from Disney to Universal for IOA's development, back to Disney during the later stages of the HP project. Interesting to see him back at IOA as a Disney employee giving a tour to Cameron.

Effects were good( I am sure better on big screen) - story 'borrowed heavily' from Star Wars / Lotr. And yes I know both franchises borrwed some also- but not as heavily I don't feel. Language and some content in this movie gonna need some explaining to the little kiddies if they want to watch it also. Count me among those really not excited over this....

And to wear it in a competitor’s park is totally inappropriate.

I really wanted to like the movie yesterday and get excited for a much needed shot in the arm of $$ and attractions for DAK. However I just can't - the movie wasn't that good. Storyline was OK - acting very spotty -- and effects likely the key not that attainable on a home tv.... If they do it, I hope they do it well...I would much prefer a Star Wars of LoTr theme as I believe Avatar is not going to have the long term tractions either one of these would have. That said, LoTr may be too violent also to play that well. HP is a phenomenon and even that one much question lets say 1/2 a park eventually at UNI- but it is likely the best bet to survive along with Star Wars. However if JK was too overbearing to work with for Disney- Lucas will be no better. I kept looking at Pandora and thinking Dagobah at one point - Endor at another. I have never been at a party where Avatar has become a topic of discussion - ever. Star Wars quotes are a part of everyday life --Avatar ? Can't think of a one. Aside from the 'save the planet' messages just not seeing the fit @ DAK. Oh well, I am sure there are people out there happy as well ( although not seeing many on the fan sites) - and like most things about WDW_ most people likely have no idea what is being planned - and won't know until it's done. my two cents is put that money back into your pockets Disney - and invest in something else.

Disney is a creative company, they can do much better than that, the bare minimum.
