I think the distinctions they make (the two I named being produced by Walt Disney Television) are just plain silly.

A Goofy Movie was a test of sorts for TV Animation, and they were allowed to step up to the feature plate and they hit a home run in my opinion. They had a bigger budget for that too, so it just looks better than any of the other TV stuff. Rescuers Down Under was also another experiment that went very well (in my opinion). It was a test for the processes leading up to Beauty and the Beast, and they really ran with it. Although I think 101 Dalmatians 2 is the best DTV they've ever done, I just wish Disney would let Television Animation experiment again. Or at least let the stuff that they are experimenting on see the light of day, like Redux Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Three Little Pigs...

When Disney was still counting their animated features in their advertising, they didn't include the TV animation films or the Pixar films, but they discontinued that counting several years ago. If you go out to the "A-Z Movie List" on Disney.com, the TV animation films are all listed. http://disneyvideos.disney.go. com/moviefinder/titlesaz/index.html -Jeff

This should have been a theater release instead of Jungle Blah 2.

And when I tell people I liked it, I find I don't even need to add the usual "...for a direct-to-video sequel." It stands on its own. Very cute. Very fun.
