Sure why not. I just think it's hilarious that people are getting all riled up over a crappy ride when there's a better one being built 50 feet away.

<<And as I said - they're both about equal for me, and none of them lives up to the potential of what WDI is actually capable of.>>

WDI isn't the same as it once was. Don't put too much faith in what they're capable of.

Well, the only reason I responded again is because you guys were making fun of me and acting like something was wrong with me for being "sentimental". If you are tired of reading my responses, I would suggest (like with anything on the Internet) to just take a "different strokes for different folks" attitude. Rather than being snarky and acting like anyone who feels passion about an attraction/s that the apparent majority of online fanboys consider beneath them is "weird".

Oh, I pretty much gave up on Disney actually doing anything I really want years ago. They pretty much lost me when they ruined EPCOT's Future World by removing Horizons, World of Motion and Imagination - and replacing them with things that weren't anywhere near the same level of quality. It's pretty much been downhill from there. I still enjoy the parks, but it's not the same.

Sometimes I get hints of the old "magic" - like with World of Color, or when Reflections of Earth opened, but it's basically only a few things out of all the changes they've made in the last 15 years. I keep hoping for better.

Oh, I feel passion about attractions. I cried when I first went on Journey Into Your Imagination and realized they destroyed my all-time favorite attraction. But I was also like 10 years old.

I had a somewhat more intense physical reaction. And I was like... well... 46.

I was in my 20's and still felt that way - though I didn't actually cry. I did have the urge to storm TDO and strangle the staff for destroying one of the last remaining EPCOT Center attractions, but contained myself somehow!

That was me when they closed The Adventurer's Club.

And I still wouldn't mind kicking a few execs in the crotch.

I was a visitor at Pleasure Island several times the summer it opened. Just last month it was so shocking to see how totally abandoned the whole place looks. The AC was bad enough-- so forlorn. But pulling away on the water taxi and seeing the exposed interior of XZFR literally rotting away... it's just a crime.

Cue the tinkling fairy noise. (The Disney version of organ music.)
I think two Snow White attractions is one too many.
Instead of ruminating and throwing everyone's selves onto the funeral pyre of a done decision, start offering up prayers that the expansion creates a decent bump in attendance and that WDW management starts looking at new ways to rejuvenate the parks. Like better sponsorship deals. Especially at EPCOT and really especially at World Showcase.

Right on David. I do not agree with your tastes, I like my Disney dark, as do my kids (thankfully the DLP version of Snow White is dark and we love it). But I do respect your right to opinion.

But I am annoyed at a dark ride being gutted for a bunch of meet and greets when there are many other options for location for them.

Agreed sadly. And the days of building inclusive attractions for all seem long gone too.

With it being situated in the center of the FL expansion I think it will be more a kiddie coaster than a true coaster. I am not as excited as many about this because I am afraid that this could be a real let down if it is short and has only one or two short indoor scenes. <<<

After seeing some things, that's not the case. There's a bit more indoors, about 2/3rds of the ride. And the other 1/3 outside is pretty long.

I think it'll be a bit longer than 3 mins, but then again, don't know the speed of the vehicles.

Why isn't it? That's the new idea for this FLE... It's home to all the Princesses.

    /feels dirty typing that.

As for the coaster, yeah, it has a nice layout and looks to be about 3mins. It won't be intense, though. Perhaps a tad more intense than Barnstormer, but nowhere near Space Mtn.<<<<

    Gag.

And 3 mins? Really? I'm hoping for at least 5, with the indoor scenes...

    EXACTLY.

And while all those things were dated, they still are classics. Plus them, keep them up, but don't just rip them out...
