Don't get me wrong, I love it, and pretty much ride it every time I'm at MK (mostly because it has no line). But getting a brand new and improved version of the story with a better ride system sounds great to me. The first Disney princess deserves a full-fledged attraction. Anyway, another upside is that the orignal (better) SWSA is still at DLR. This creates more of uniqueness to our Fantasyland. The classic dark rides are in Cali where they belong, and we get something more than dusty old clones. Our Fantasyland is finally getting it's own identity.

After you see the queen turn around at the beginning of the ride, you've basically seen the best part. So I can't imagine the new ride being as bad as the current one. In which case, I see this as a clear upgrade. Maybe the mine car ride will be our equivalent of DL's Matterhorn. Not the same scale, but a little thrilling coaster in Fantasyland. I can live with that (and honestly find it more appealing than the 4 minute retelling of the Little Mermaid dark ride).

OK, they are doubling Dumbo, so I guess they win on that technicality. The new food locales? Great. But what was the capacity of the Adventureland Veranada? What about the other shuttered locations? Sure, there will be 'new' stuff. And it will look better than now. But where's the added capacity.

Sixteen guests per train... >>I won't give Disney a pass and say Mermaid is anything but the LONG awaited replacement for 20K.<< Good point. I guess it's just more capacity than what is there now, not ever.

Fanboi greedy statement: Is it wrong to wish to keep the excitement and momentum going by having Disney Studios replace that animation building (love the Mushu show) and have some comparable project?
