Don't get me wrong, I love it, and pretty much ride it every time I'm at MK (mostly because it has no line). But getting a brand new and improved version of the story with a better ride system sounds great to me. The first Disney princess deserves a full-fledged attraction.

Anyway, another upside is that the orignal (better) SWSA is still at DLR. This creates more of uniqueness to our Fantasyland. The classic dark rides are in Cali where they belong, and we get something more than dusty old clones. Our Fantasyland is finally getting it's own identity.

Virtually the only reason I ever ride this.

*But* that's not what MK has. They have a horribly outdated dark ride with practically no *wow* factor. After you see the queen turn around at the beginning of the ride, you've basically seen the best part.

So I can't imagine the new ride being as bad as the current one. In which case, I see this as a clear upgrade. Maybe the mine car ride will be our equivalent of DL's Matterhorn. Not the same scale, but a little thrilling coaster in Fantasyland. I can live with that (and honestly find it more appealing than the 4 minute retelling of the Little Mermaid dark ride).

For a park in desperate need of added (nor simply transferred capacity) where is it coming from?

OK, they are doubling Dumbo, so I guess they win on that technicality.

The new food locales? Great. But what was the capacity of the Adventureland Veranada? What about the other shuttered locations?

Sure, there will be 'new' stuff. And it will look better than now. But where's the added capacity.

I should run over there and make a scathing "What about Adventurers Club?!?!" comment....

Well, there is still a net gain of one ride, so there's some capacity. Plus some sort of water-play area. (Ugh.)

My comment would only be: yeah, this knocks Harry Potter out of the park.

    Or ...

I am sure all the Disney fans in Japan would gladly give up Hunny Hunt or Ride and Go Seek for this.

The coaster will have a higher capacity than SWSA, too. Won't it?

A net gain of one spinner with way kewl interactive queue.

I won't give Disney a pass and say Mermaid is anything but the LONG awaited replacement for 20K.

I guess it depends on the number of trains. Sixteen guests per train...

    Good point.
I guess it's just more capacity than what is there now, not ever.

I thought about you guys, because the first comment posted on the pin board I read was, "I'm excited for the Princess Hall!"

You already have that. It's called Space Mountain.

The new mine ride sounds interesting, but something tells me that it's going to be one of those little coasters that lasts less than 90 seconds.

Nooo... That's actually thrilling and fast. This is a slow version of Barnstormer. LOL.

The charm of this place looks like I might get a taste of some very needed charm in Fantasyland. The wooded area and water will add so much mood and story. Yeah !!! Grabs tissues to wipe my drool

Between this project and the DCA project, I feel "discussion board" giddy once again. I am interested and excited.

Will the beast's library live in Fantasyland now and finally leave that god awful office space area in the sad animation building? please say yes.

Fanboi greedy statement: Is it wrong to wish to keep the excitement and momentum going by having Disney Studios replace that animation building (love the Mushu show) and have some comparable project? And no I don't always want more more more ... I am happy with this FL project (ok ... I want more) :))

*grabbing more tissues to wipe drool after seeing all the concept art*
