Here's our sweetheart all healed up. <a href="http://www.sharward.com/photos/displayimage.php?album=3&pos=5" target="_blank">http://www.sharward.com/photos /displayimage.php?album=3&pos=5</a> <a href="http://www.sharward.com/photos/displayimage.php?album=3&pos=6" target="_blank">http://www.sharward.com/photos /displayimage.php?album=3&pos=6</a> She has a follow-up appointment later this week, when she'll have another blood panel done to see how she's doing relative to where she's been. So, while all of this is indeed good news, it is tempered somewhat by the fact that she has indeed been diagnosed with an apparent chronic kidney disease condition -- what she experienced last week was an acute episode of it. It will take a lot of work for the rest of her life to manage the disease... But she's worth it, of course. You know, there's something to be said about things like this. Jen and I have REALLY been enjoying Sera a lot these past few days. It just seems like she's cuter and more playful and more affectionate than usual, and yet none of that is probably true... It just feels like it is. So, there you have it -- a happy ending, perhaps with an asterisk.

Of course, even after months of expert Sub Q-giving, once in a while, I'd still find myself supporting a wet kitty when I "thought" the needle was in correctly. It happens, so don't fret when it does.

It's a beautiful thing to have her back and acting like her old self. She's very, very dear to me...
