The only place in Journey that I expect to see her is directing me to my ride vehicle. I figure that will happen sometime in 2008.

Don't feel bad - there are holes in everyone's set of knowledge. If you're at all interested, Python shows up from time to time on PBS, and is shown regularly on BBC America. It's sort of an acquired taste, though - you either get it or you don't.

I believe the crane had something to do with fixes at Test Track but could have been for Wonders of Life. I looked this morning on Disney's EPCOT home page as I wasn't sure what the name of the Pavillion was all and didn't want to call it the "Body Wars Pavillion", and found that EPCOT doesn't even list The Wonders of Life Pavillion. Don't get me wrong, Wonders of Life needs a revamp, but so does the Imagination Pavillion.

Someone of us LP'ers needs to go down there during June-August and see if it is open then, cause if it isn't then I would bet it's done for.

It would help tremendously if Disney could secure a sponsor for the pavilion. Without it, WoL is doomed.

There definitely isn't anything on the immediate horizon for it as Epcot are planning on using the facility for the Food & Wine again in the fall.

Is it my imagination or are there less and less sponsors these days?

I think sponsorship declined for a while, but is beginning to come back again. I think now that the economy is better companies are once again realizing the benefit of establishing a link between themselves and Disney.

I'm not an Eisner basher, but I have to admit there is probably renewed interest in sponsorship now that he is gone.

I'm very encouraged by the Siemens sponsorship of Spaceship Earth. They are one of the largest companies in the world, and their interest in sponsorship is bound to generate additional interest in sponsorship by other companies.

I imagine he took a look at the sorry job that folks in that department had been doing lately and gave them a kick in the rear.
