Should we just accept that we are passed looking good? At first I felt a bit sad, then I just wanted to kick the advert makers!
    What a load of tripe!

Friends of mine who I have known for years and years, and we're all similar ages, I would say ALL of them look better now than they ever have! I dont think of 40 as old any more, when I was 15 or so, I though how awful it must be to be over 30!!..lololol....( now Id hate to be 15!)

What am I whittering on about here? not making my point very well am I?.....I mean , no way is 40 over the hill.

oh and happy birthday once more.x

#2, I've never eaten at Turner New Zealand but it sure sounds good. A Chef friend of mine is a huge advocate and customer of Turner of New Zealand products. Say's to be of highest quality.

I'd like to offer some words-o-wisdon, but you've already provided your own! :^)

I wish I could remember my 4-0 B-Day, but I truly can't recall what I did. (My 49th is just around the corner, even though it's been feeling more like the 59th or 69th these past several months.)

I feel the 4-0 is a neat little milestone, in that the "feeling like a high school kid" stuff is gone, but you're still young enough to not feel "middle-aged" yet.

I'm thinking the 5-0 hallmark, signaling the start of regular colonoscopies, is the true tear jerker. LOL!

Word to the wise: do NOT allow your appt time to be pushed back because of "technical difficulties," forcing you to go without food or drink for more than 10-12 hours (16 hours by the time they started).

Blacking out and dry heaving inside a CT scanner isn't a pleasant experience. %^(
