    UNFAIR!

They are simply exercising their right to free speech!

Unlike those bloody Muslims who are building their Muslim Center...THEY have no free speech rights, because they all attacked us!

No, like being able to have an actual conversation about an issue in a rational way and not telling people to shut up and learn something.

Also we all know that Christians murder doctors, bomb medical clinics, alternative lifestyle establishments, and the Olympics.>>

Except the majority of Christians do condemn those type of actions.

Maybe they're just saying that to be politically-correct.

Uh oh. People say this when they're about to say something ignorant. It's like a warning...

How about the pot calling the kettle black, for starters.

Unless you think it would be fair for me to call you a supporter of kiddie rape.

That doesn't seem fair, though...does it?

    Why, because you say so?

I gave you some evidence, so refute it. Show me all the websites where mainstream Muslim groups advocate and support terrorism.

You want to put all the onus on Muslims to "work their butts off" to distance themselves from terrorism, as if they haven't been doing so already. Then, after Mr. X provides you with numerous examples of exactly what you said you wanted to see, you wave it off as being "sadly, the minority."

That's ignorance. Intentionally, stubbornly ignoring facts and evidence that counter your perceptions.

I have to wonder why you bother...according to doctrine you're destined for hell anyway for not attending regular mass (I can only assume you're blowing off regular confession, too?)...

I can sort of understand the idea of keeping up with tradition by attending on special occasions, but for me just to set foot in a Catholic church under the circumstances makes me cringe.

And do NOT get me wrong, I condemn the Catholic Church for their wrongdoing no more or less than I do the Muslim groups...

I'm anti-Religious for a reason...and the reason is their horrific actions (whether it be actions of terror, covering up systematic rape, actively promoting discrimination...etc...).

I've never considered myself anti-God, and even some religions seem pretty cool (Buddism, on it's face, seems pretty innocuous for example), but I despise and repudiate the evils done in the name of religion one and all.

Now, I should probably go and get myself excommunicated from the Catholic Church (since I suppose I'm still a "member")...anyone know which sin I should use to piss them off the most upon my departure? :p

Gosh, maybe if some Muslims built some sort of, I don't know, community center. With a pool and basketball courts, child care center, a bookstore... you know, stuff Americans are okay with.

I bet that would really show that they're trying to counter the negative stereotypes. I'm sure they'd be applauded and welcomed for doing so.
