And some people just won't believe it anyway, while others in the media keep on whipping up the suspicion and xenophobia. It's like we learned after Pearl Harbor that it's stupid to round people up and put them in camps because they are of the same race as those who attacked. But now, all these years later, the xenophobia that was at the heart of all that is as strong as ever in some quarters. It's really quite sad.

They're sort of pussyfooting around it because frankly they're too scared. Like I said Benzair Bhutto paid for it. Believe me the younger generation that's attending these anti-terrorism camps one of them will be the leaders of the Muslim world and that's certainly encouraging.

There are so many other things to focus on here. I'm glad that your trip to NYC and ground zero showed how diverse the area really is. Good for the firefighter too, for calling out that woman. I'm not going to say we deserved it, because nobody deserves anything like that. However, it didn't happen in a vacuum. The terrorists didn't just hate us for no reason. We had our hands dirty. Unfortunately, that led to a pretty horrific terrorist attack. Anyway, not to go down that rabbit hole here...

They can take Barbara with them, since I'm sure she had a hand in booking the guy in the first place.

You don't go on someone's show and tell them to shut up so that they can "learn" something. That's the issue, not what he said, but the tone. The View, however one may feel about it, has had a variety of guests and some have said controversial things over the years. They haven't walked out before, not because they have shifting values, but because those people at least were respectful enough to not shout at them.
