Because at TDS, the film *had* to be changed to reflect the tropical rainforrest setting of Lost River Delta. We are NOT in Adventureland! Besides, I found it very clever that the imagineers made fun of those entrepeneur hispanics who will go to no lenghts to make a business out of someone else's business. reason why Paco's safety spiel is so hilarious, and the reason why he holds the hand written sign. *sighs*.. Don't you people know anything about stereotypes??

TDS's was basically a safety guide...it didn't even tell us about the Fountain of Youth or the Crystal Skull unlike Disneyland's. Plus, you get 3 different films in Disneyland. << The moment we exited the teravator I knew. I had not even seen the ride vehicles yet! Don't you just love all the detail poured into the queue. I especially love all those Victorian age paintings of the various parts of the subterranean world. The terravators were awesome too; you could feel the heat and smell the rusty patina. And ditto on the facade. No doubt the most impressive show building ever created for an attraction.

The red leather seats and oxidized steel surface fit the theme perfectly, and the huge shovel like appearance at the front fools you into thinking it's capable of digging into the Earth's crust. I also love how the "miner's light" at the front turns on and off at various points of the journey.

Yes, Pooh is a stellar ride for all family members but I think if the American versions had never been created(especially DL's) then people would not be over touting the Tokyo's version. Indy(TDS) is my 3rd favorite attraction anywhere. 20k Leagues is simply awsome! --- way too much to look at even on my 5th ride. I think I would need 20 rides to absorb all that 20K has to offer. I loved it so much with its dazzling full 3-d sets. If 20k would have had some form of physical thrills and if the suspended track would have had noticeable verticle capabilities sending us down deep or upward instead of straight horizontal movement it would have been as good or better than JTTCE.

It's really tough on a guy's back to lean down and watch the scenes. Also, I think 20,000 Leagues lacks a good queue. The queue it has right now is way too short and hardly gets you in the mood unlike JttCotE's. It seems to just spiral down into this small storage area. I would've liked it more if they had used a form of preshow like the terravators at JttCotE to heighten your anticipation. I still JttCotE's sets are much more detailed though, mostly because you are up closer to the action and can appreciate it fully. 20,000 Leagues is so dark inside that it takes really good vision to see what's going on. I believe the scenes are based off the old submarine rides though, so we're not really missing anything. 20,000 Leagues definitely could use some improvement before it gets anywhere near being as good as JttCotE

Anyways, my user name is distinct enough from your user name. To add to the confusion, there's even a DisneySeaFan on another forum! What's next? TokyoDisneylandFan?
