Kids climb all over everything at the US parks without much reprocussion, and many times deface property (whether intentionally or unintentionally). I have seen this first-hand numerous times. Once I saw a little boy at Disneyland, climb on top of the rocks leading into Tomorrowland and climb up into the neon sign. He was pulling at the sign and trying to get his mother's attention. He could have easily hurt himself or the sign, but nobody seemed to care all that much. That's just one instance, but it illustrates what my point is.

While I see your point I think any Disney Park restarant is going to be designed and built to specifications designed to handle massive amounts of people regaurdless of the country it's located. Do only Ameicans go to Disneyland?

I am totally NOT offended by tonyanton's remark because they are very true.

Plus, here at TDR, the CMs have no problem calling the attention of guests to safety issues such as climbing or smoking in non smoking areas, as opposed to the distresful lack of concern by CM's at WDW and DLP when things like these happen. Sorry jaxtrip but that is the honest to goodness truth I have witnessed over and over on my many Disney trips, even if it's so hard to believe.

Give the kids something cool, like the QoH Dining Hall or the Auberge de Cendrillon at Paris, themed especially for kids (but loved by adults!). I appreciate that Downtown Disney was supposed to help fill that void, that I don't find it has much for families.

Originally Posted By TDLFAN >>This is NOT kids will be kids, but rather poor parenting coming from unattentive and careless parents<< Agreed 150%! Compounding the problem is that kids without proper parenting are now putting out kids as well! Of course, there are exceptions to some good parents out there, but when I see some parent laughing out loud at their kids' mischeviousness, it does raise a "cautionary flag" about the importance of proper parenting. Of course, I have no kids so I would be the last person to pass judgement, but it's (oh so much!) fun.

But this place does not look any more amazing then most of Disney's restaurants, especially when compared to the Auberge de Cindrillon, or King Stephens, or the Blue Bayou. Maybe it's the theme that turns me off, but it looks less lavish than DLP's Fantasyland Restaurants. I am interested in trying the Japanese Retaurant in World Bazaar though.
