I think ChiMike meant EPCOT's Japan pavillion. Not the real Japan in the far Eart. But of course... I could see one of those trailer park military wives from nearby Yokota US Base behaving like that at TDR or Tokyo for that matter. People carry their bad upbringing with them everywhere they go.

You mean WDW, because there are lots of places where people are still a bit conciderate in the World... Japan being one of them (except when they go to the Countdown Parties at TDL.. or there is a women's clothing sale at Matsuzakaya... then manners go out the proverbial window)

Nobody complains about the spiel on the Haunted Mansion or on POTC do they? Same should go for the JC - it's up to the skipper to deliver it in the manner described by Disney - if it's boring for that person then find another who will deliver it correctly.

Never a truer statement said. You only have to stand in the Fastpass lines for Buzz or Pooh to watch the poor manners exhibited by guests. There is a selfishness that seems to permeate Japanese society that manifests itself at TDR.

Oh please... like you euros are so saintly as well... when in fact, the rudest guests on Earth can be found at DLP.. They don't call your place of origin "the dark ages" for nothing. Rude selfish people will be found everywhere in the World but this most apparent in Europe, and anyone who travels as often as I do, would know that.

The dark ages refers to a period of time, not an actual place.
