If you watched the press night of the show Sunny's beautiful song is at the end when all of the characters are dancing on stage. The version that should be up on LP Lotion today has the song on it pretty clear (the exploding firework shells were pretty loud).

On Sunday the parade was a disgrace. As has already been mentioned the park audio feed failed at 15.50 meaning there was no countdown announcements, no launch anno and NO music from the park speakers - this meant the parade's start was delayed by 15 minutes and only the float music was heard, this was bad enough!

But things got worse after the Villains float broke down at the Castle Stage, meaning the parade was halted on Main Street for another 15 minutes, using up the whole of the floats music loop's and effects, leaving some floats without any music and smoke/bubble effects for the rest of the parade.

Also the aroma's failed on the floats.

I'm sure you'd have a different opinion of the parade if you saw it "properly" as it really is a good parade, when it works!

Parades are not a simple affair, and new ones take time, even months, to tweak and get just right. And the more specialty aspects that are added, as well as completely new sound systems, well- there are bound to be major bugs that need to be worked through. That should be done before hand, but still, there is nothing like the actual test of running it in the parks with full show intact in a packed park. Plus, they may have just been strapped for time leading up to the big anniversary.
I am sure that within even a couple more weeks, it should flow more smoothly. May take longer than that.
As for myself, judging from videos, the parade looks wonderful- visually the best I have seen from DLRP.
What I think needs work is the spacing and flow, and the "show" aspect to the show stops.

Minus the word "packed", that should all be taken care off in after hours dress rehersals.

The fact that it wasn't is really disgraceful.

true. Don't know why it didn't seem quite ready, even in previews...

But as far as having so much bad stuff happen all in the same show, I'd say they just didn't devote enough money (time) to working out the issues before putting it in front of a paying audience.

All the other days, everything was perfect. So, please, do not judge without knowing what exacty happened. It is sad that guests saw such a bad show, but it is not due to a lack of rehersal or money issues...

At TDL, no they are not. At WDW, they are as simple as they get and still, they don't get them right, as opposed to TDL getting them right and HUGE from the start.

And yes Fredddy, that's why I wrote "if it were just a one-time glitch, that'd be different".

From the way people have been writing, it sounded like ongoing problems. If not, then what I said about a one-time situation still stands.

Anyway, that's my take on it. And yeah, I know a thing or two about Disney productions. ;)
