It's amazing that someone who does nothing but insult others whines when it's thrown back in his face. It's often done to make a point, but the point is never taken. If the blatantly inflamatory and insulting posts were admin'd with any regularity, I'm sure most people would simple report them and ignore them. Since they're allowed to stay most of the time, I see no reason not to fight fire with fire.

It is so hard. But you know what happens? By responding to a person who is making insane statements, you actually give credence to those ideas, in so far as you think they are worth responding to. Do you see what I'm saying? By even addressing them at all, you give them merit. I think just about no one agrees with the extreme viewpoint here. Most people in the world dont', either. To respond to it makes it appear as if it is in some way a valid viewpoint that needs to be addressed, when it obviously isn't. It just serves no purpose. Responding is just what the person is looking for, and you know, as Ed has said, even discussing him is what he looks for. It's not about ideas or politics or solving problems, it's about attention. If he upsets you that much, don't give it to him. That's the most damaging thing you can do to him.

I don't think anyone on here discusses more ideas and issues in detail than I do. What gets people upset is how I am not afraid to tell the truth about certain issues and people.
