I have literally made pacts with God (I dunno....the devil.....anyone, really) during my life: okay, if I can just NOT throw up now, I promise I will: (fill in the blank). It's worked 95% of the time.

Barfing is just wrong and it's evil and very mean and cruel.

    *sigh*

Okay, sorry Smeds, I have a real phobia about it and I imagine you're not finding it entertaining in the least.

Um...well...I am so boring, I have nothing exciting to say. It's my day off and I have tons of housework to do. Oh! We had a little date last night and went to one of our favorite little spots: Half-Price Books.

$70 later......yeah, so much for a cheap little date. On top of that, I didn't even check out the books! Usually I make a beeline right to the vintage (and much more expensive) children's books first. I love the age, the wear, the smell, the patina (wait...I don't know if books can even have patina...maybe that's only metal) anyway the "oldness" of the books. But nope.....went straight to the used dvd's. I was in a chick flick movie mood.

I picked up one I hadn't seen before "Must Love Dogs" and we watched maybe the first half hour before we conked out. :) We'll probably finish it today hopefully. DH stocked up on some classic war movies and documentaries and I got a Julie Andrews broadway cd and DH got some other cd's and......this is really boring, too.

    :(

What a sad, pathetic little life I lead!

See, Smedley? This is actually probably reverse pyschology entertaining when you think of it. You think: that poor sod (right? sod? or are only guys sods?) of a woman is leading a vaguely depressing life. Meanwhile, I, British woman of the world that I am, traipse across the world skiing, diving, falling, computering, bumping, partying, driving, loving my cool entertaining husband....

Yeah. I think I've done my duty today. :)

    {{{{Smedertainers}}}}}} Have a great day/night, everyone!

<---waves and is off to do the pathetic laundry and clean the even more pathetic cat box....

Your date last night sounds like a lot of fun to me! I can beat it, we spent last night hanging out playing animal crossing and mario kart on the Wii ;D

Oh and of course being home at the right times for me to have my 3 meals 5 hours apart ;)

I just drove 3 days down to LA and my back is killing me. Tomorrow I get to unpack the car. I also need to buy a new bookcase to temporarily attempt to store things here at my parents. My brother's family is coming for the weekend and I am so excited to see my Dnieces (5 and 2). The problem is that I have to take the CA Board exam on Wednesday and it's supposed to be hard. Apart from that, my parents have started mentioning: invitations need to go out, dress fitting, hair styling, food tasting at reception and rehearsal dinner locations, car rental ideas, housing arrangements, etc. At least, other than the test, these are all happy chores.
