    I think the Clones were going to buy some of them at the local feed store...

    ok, I can be serious. It was an old southern term for outhouse. It got it's name from a popular stand-up comedian of the 1920's.

    "Chick Sale was a "character" of the 1920s and thereabouts, who did
    stand-up performances as a hayseed whose specialty was building outhouses."

    re: your Plane Crazy pun, in spite of how much I'm enjoying the serious back-pedaling, I never made the pun connection. I just figured that you had branded me for life because I made a reference to an airplane propeller. Hmmm, would that be appropriate in the Plane Crazy thread, or just when our noble paladin, knightnfrees, is there???
