My dog ran over to it and, being the big chicken she is, ran away when it started swimming closer to the shore. . It's the closest I've ever been to one. We also saw a couple of grey whales and a few dolphins swimming around it. Morro Bay is great. We stay a few miles north in San Simeon, which is right next to Cambria. If you ever get over there, stay at the Best Western Cavalier. Every room has an ocean view and it's less crowded, but close enough to get to Morro Bay to walk around. Sorry to go on and on, but I'm sitting here wishing I was still there. And, sorry smedley...this is your thread and it should ALWAYS be about you.

So sad for the kids. They're cramming more and more students into each class. Makes it very difficult for the teacher to do what they need to do.

This thread is about entertaining Smed, not Smed herself and I found your post quite entertaining.

On a side note: I found a dove egg on the ground below their nest. I took a small shovel and put it back in. Hopefully, Mr. and Mrs. Dove will take care of it. On another side note: Where is Shiva?? Or is he posting under a different name these days. Well, hope you had a nice day, smedley...and everyone else, for that matter.
