    "Are you 'in the mood'?"

It was baffling enough thinking of my father writing that and having to secretly pass it in my presence to my mom some night (which I assume happened), but the fact that he used correct "inside quotes" inside regular quotation marks, a la the words 'in the mood' made it all the more surreal.

But their bed (which is mine now, they got a newer king size one) squeaked enough so that my sister and I knew they musta been 'in the mood' more than Glenn Miller!

Kissing in rides rocks, though. As long as you have your own vehicle and don't mind that the monitor guy may be watching, I love it. Particularly in Peter Pan in the Neverland room with all the stars. When you first plunge into the darkness in the Matterhorn is another good one.

Never do it in rides with large vehicles, though, except maybe in the last row in Pirates (very discreetly). Doing it in Small World would seem downright skeevy, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone kiss in there. It's pretty bright for starters, plus you always have young kids in the boat, plus there are all those doll eyes looking at you, looking at you...

It was always pretty obvious around our house - especially after we moved to Las Vegas. That's when my folks started sleeping in separate rooms - my dad SNORES like nuthin' you've EVER heard! It's terrible! *LOL* So when they were in his room together... well... my brother and I would have to have been really stupid... ;-)

My husband and I have been kissing at Disneyland since I was 19 and he was 20. That was in 1972 so I guess we don't know better yet. (Which led me to the next quote.)

    >>I wouldn't mind seeing two grandparents going at it.<<

We are grandparents:) (Which led me to the next quote.)

    >>Hopefully kids have seen their parents kiss-- more than a peck. It's good for them to know that their parents are important to eachother, and that they love eachother.<<

My kids never thought much of other's PDA's cuz they were used to it. The ironic thing is that it began to bother them when they hit their teens and started doing it themselves. Now that they are all grown up they just shrug and seem happy that we have stayed together all these years and do not mind showing it. (No, we do not make-out for hours, but we often do more than a peck on the cheek.) Then there are the times that we just like to gross out the teenagers necking in line.

We had wanted to, but we didn't feel the moment was right. We ended up at the wishing well about an hour before closing. We looked at SW and the 7 D's. After a couple of minutes, our heads turned, slowly, and we went in for a kiss. It was pure magic. I heard the fireworks go off and they weren't running that night. ;) To be honest, we did get a little heavy with the kissing, but, we made sure to pull back when we heard people coming up. It was kinda funny that after 30 minutes or so of no one coming down the path, one person right after another started about. So, we could do nothing but laugh about the moment and decided to leave.

When we come to the park nowadays, we find appropriate moments to sneak in a kiss. If we're in line, we make sure to behave. ;)
