Michael Knight the actor was co-stars with Justin Bruening on AMC. /cs

Being a huge fan of Knight Rider I, of course, was thrilled. Somewhere in my collection of pictures I have a picture standing next to said car. I had the Knight Rider toy stunt set where you could launch KITT through the side of an 18-wheeler. Oh yes, I was a K.R. fanboy before fanboys existed!

I worked the KR attraction at USH for many years. It was quite fun speaking with guests from all around the world. The same questions came up quite a bit but I was able to keep it fresh and interesting. I miss it, but I look back at it with fond memories. <<I actually recall a trip to Universal Studios (not called "Hollywood") back in the day where we ran across a KITT car that was able to speak to passers-by.>> I did not know they had the car in FL. I had asked many a supervisor and they had told me the car wasn't there. Who knew? wahoo, did you get to sit inside KITT? Or were the doors closed? <<I had the Knight Rider toy stunt set where you could launch KITT through the side of an 18-wheeler. I lived in Southern California until 1984 and I saw it around '84. I don't recall getting to sit in it, but I think we could peek through the windows. Commtron sounds familiar. I think that was a casualty of a mother who didn't see the potential in saving old toys.

Yep, I remember those days. Back when the Tram Tour was 2 and a half hours long. Good times. <<I saw it around '84. I don't recall getting to sit in it, but I think we could peek through the windows.>> 1984, I wasn't working there yet. It wasn't until 1990 that I gave KITT his dulcet tones. ...yeah, the car was there on display for a looong time. 1983 - 1997 (USH pulled out his vocal cords in 1995).

Unfortunately, they didn't care much as far as quality goes. I know in my early years of doing it, we had a solid stable of people who worked on the voice and the character...keeping it close to KITT's voice, wit and personality. << b. KITT looked slightly different inside (at least according to my memory).>> There were two cars that were switched out over the years...One was from the 3rd season of KR and one that was specially made for the Brisbane Expo in 1988. <<I also remember wondering why KITT sat surrounded by water.>> Well, there are two answers to that. I would answer, "it made a nice photo spot." KITT would answer, "It keeps small children from climbing all over me."

And someone said..."ok...we'll just cruise down a couple of midways and be done." It was brutal.

But imagine a FORD GT as KITT. Now that would do.

I remember "lifting" a fan that had some type of pneumatics system. The Conan show, etc. All great, kitschy attractions far removed from Terminator, Jurassic Park, etc.

Oshawa T3 is tooling up to make the Silverado SS in addition to the Sierra Denali.

Two shows: Airport '77 (where audience members participate in recreating the show and it was taped and replayed) as well as the Bionic Man Testing Center. When I saw that set I was reminded that I actually got to be one of the chosen volunteers in that "show". Wow, what a time warp I had. Interesting note: Super-agent started his "Hollywood" career as a tour guide on the tram tour.

Then again I'm currently enjoying some time off watching Galactica 1980 on the other monitor, so what do I know. I wish they had Daniel or whatever his name as the voice of KITT, KITT doesn't feel the same, but I don't mind "Michael Tracer" from what I've seen. This Knight Rider definitely feels way more like the original KR. I'm guessing they're ignoring the Knight 4000 and Team Knightrider in this continuity eh?
